The ISO 14001:2015 Implementation Handbook: Using the Process Approach to Build an Environmental Management System

I have a lot of questions for the new standard ISO14001:2015 Requirements. That why I purchase this book. I have read thru this book but it does't have the answer to my query. Let I give you some examples.1. In clause 9.3 Management Review this book does't explain each sub-clause what does it mean and what I have to do. It mentions a lot of nonsense that it does't meet my expectation.2. In clause 4.1 Understanding the organization and its context it doesn't explain in detail what is meant by external and internal issues. The reason I purchase this book I am strongly believe that it will explain more than in the ISO 14001:2015 Requirements.3. In clause 4.2 Understanding the needs and expectations of interested parties it doesn't clearly define who is our Interested Parties and what are their needs and expectation ( give the examples)4. The same as I hv told you in 'Risk Management Concept and Tools' the wording 'RISK and Opportunity" It doesn't ctearedAnd a lot of talking nonsense from the Author in fact I would like to see the exampleOverall this book doesn't meet my expectation

I have over 22 years of experience working in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and I use this book all the time to help train employees that are new to ISO (first time ever experiencing it) or new to a position that has a focus/responsibility for ISO 14001 compliance. Worth every penny!

The book provided a good overview of the ISO 14001:2015 with some commentary on specific clauses however this book is not a good substitute for attending a proper ISO 14001:2015 Course. It should be used as a complement to it and not as a substitute.I would have preferred if there were more case studies.

In my opinion, it simply paraphrased the standard. I was looking for examples of "implementation" How-to. It gave very little more insight than the Annex to ISO 14001. Now that I have worked my own way through the standard, I could write a better guide.

Excellent presentation of the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. The changes from the previous revision- ISO 14001:2004 are clearly defined with examples related to "interested parties" for various types companies. The use of the plastics company to illustrate how aspects and legal requirements can be identified was very helpful. I used the annex materials to explain the benefits and basic elements of the EMS.

The last iso14001 guidebook i bought was very old and so i go this one for 2015Have to say it's not so useful as i thought, especially for £67!!!5.3 for example has 11 lines of text for guidance! That's it! They copy and paste the 5.3 clause from the standard then write a few lines of text and give 4 examples. That is not enough content and there is a huge amount they could have added here to offer explanations etc.I'll probably just use this with the old version i had to double check the differences in the new version

I found this a very worthwhile addition to my reference library. As I purchased the kindle edition the checklists I soon discovered the checklist were not included. I contacted the author who promptly forward electronic ones, so thoroughly delighted.

how do i get hold of the checklists

As per the cost wise, the book contain is not sufficient , just like the standard. Not explained in details about the clause in detail, just given only the summary of the clause.The books is not worthy then Rs. 300/-. Writer have described but just only few lines. As per the cost, the books should be fully describing the ISO 14001:2015 in details and how to implement it in the organization.Writer have not given sufficient details about the Standard.Not happy with the prices and its contain.

I liked the examples given in the book and the template of EMS processes.Can i get the email id of the author?
