I’m fostering 3 special needs kittens. They’re all attracted to this for climbing. One of these kittens has a congenital birth defect and can’t use her hind legs well and another has a front paw that is bent. Neither have any problems using this tree too practice climbing.. Kittens are only 4 weeks old and haven’t started scratching yet. Since these sweet little kitties haven’t started to sharpen their nails I can’t comment on the wear and tear of the sisal. The cat tree took me less than five minutes to assemble.

We have two cats and they both LOVE these post. I have ordered the shorter one of the two, 5 times now and they are durable and last at least 2 months or longer for us in a two cat household with everyday use, and I mean EVERYDAY USE. I can't say enough great things about these. They are much cheaper than the name brand stores and just as nice. Like I said they last a long time and my cats love them. The pictures I posted are one that I replaced with a new post I just ordered. You can see the difference in how much they used the first one. Will definitely keep buying to replace when the old ones run out.

shipped overnight, super fast. looked like the box got banged up by my lovely amazon carriers as usual, but no damage to the actual items. very easy setup. the cat is gonna love it. I do haha. looks like i give a hoot about the small things haha. you can't be a that bad of a guy if you got this thing hanging out in the corner of the room :). I bought this ~6 months ago, with one of my two cats most in mind. He prefers to scratch on the vertical posts on their cat trees, but always appeared a bit "scrunched" when doing so (the other is also happy to use flat/cardboard scratchers on the floor). It is a hit! Both will use it at times but the cat who prefers vertical scratching uses it the most. He'll even at times curl around the base for a nap, he loves it so much! I'm glad I went with the 34" for adult cats, as he really seems to enjoy being able to stretch up to scratch.

Our cat loves this scratching post. We have several around the house but I keep this one near my living room curtains to get her to scratch the post instead of my curtains. It works and she seems to prefer this one over some of the others around the house. It also comes with a little grooming brush that attaches to the post which was a bonus. She’s still learning how to use that part of it but once she gets it I’m sure she’ll love it.

We bought two of these and placed them at the two ends of our sectional sofa and it works BRILLIANTLY to keep our two kitties from shredding the upholstery! We tried those stick on cardboard scratchers but those didn’t work. Our cats love the sisal rope and they now far prefer scratching these posts instead of our sofa - YAY! And they are sturdy and don’t tip over. SUCCESS!!!

My small cat (8.5 lbs) can fully stretch on the pole and she likes using it. She’s doesn’t like the dangly pom poms that are usually on cat trees so I tied a long string to the top and she plays with that all the time. If you have a larger cat you would want to weigh down the base so your cat doesn’t tip it over

This scratcher is great! Easy to put together, aesthetically pleasing, and works for my kitten great. She’s only 13 weeks old and it’s a great size for her, but honestly I think she’ll grow into it and it’ll still work when she’s older. 10/10!

I have 2 cats that are litter mates. Both female. one of them loves this and uses it frequently. The other has no interest in it at all and runs off if I put her on it.

This is a pretty large sturdy cat post. I have 3 active cats....they all LOVE this tree.I've had two of them at the same time on the pole itself (18lbs) and wresting on it...no tipping at all. This thing is just awesome. Great bang for buck.Also, carpet doesn't shed...I appreciate that I don't need to clean that up too.

Our cats like it and use it daily the sisal is starting to wear.
