What is the name of the valve part where you can attach the thermometer to the valve?

It fits into a 1/2” npt threaded connector

How do i get this to stop leaking? I am brewing on Monday and now have a giant hole in my Kettle & a thermometer w/ no instructions that keeps leaking

Thermometer cones with "O" ring and nut. No issues sealing here. O ring on top, nut under lid.

Where the product made?

I looked all over the product and couldn't find this info. Mine is installed so it's difficult to access certain spots... But I can say that the quality if very good. I've been using it for over a year and it works great. Once I even used it under water (I had problems with my chiller and had to use the iced water bath method to cool the wort) and it's perfectly sealled.
