My daughter used these ideas to illustrate a world map she was drawing for a school project. The instructions were clear with lots of different landmarks and animals to choose from. Having this really elevated her map and she enjoyed personalizing her map.

Excellent Tutorial! Easy to follow
Purchased for my budding artist granddaughter -- she LOVES this and the others in the series I also gave her. I have seen AND used many "How To Draw..." books over the years. Some authors simply go through the motions while the best work hard to deliver a high quality instructional book that is both easy to pick up and near impossible to put down. Color me BERY IMPRESSED! 5 STARS!
