Supremo Italiano: 120 Small Cannoli Shells

Oh my gosh, these were so awesome! I bought two boxes that’s 240 cannolis and out of that only six were broken. My suggestion to the seller is to put a Styrofoam padding on the top. There probably would not be any that break.

These are excellent. The texture, taste and density are perfect. They arrive fresh and stay that way. I am asked to bring these with a ricotta filling to many, many events and occasions and it's so easy to say yes.

Some broken units which I can still put to good use. The broken pieces can used as an item to be dipped into a bowl of cannoli cream filling. Still taste just as good. The rest can be filled and served the normal way. Saves a lot of time in preparing and all those who have had the pleasure of enjoying themas meeting, potlucks and just as a side to some espresso together. Well worth the time and saves a lot of it unless you really want to go all the way and make the tubes. I choose not to as these are as good and maybe said to better as I don't have to do the ugly work.

Omg, these are delicious! Mini size, about 2-1/2" long, two bites. Perfect. The flavor is fresh. The texture is crunchy! Maybe too crunchy to eat within two or three hours of filling, but at about five or six hours, the filling softens them up to the perfect texture. I made the filling with 2 cups of whole milk ricotta, drained in a cheesecloth-line colander overnight. **About a third of a cup of whey (water) drained out of the ricotta cheese. That is very important. It needs to be drained overnight, in the fridge, or the filling won't stay in the shell. ** In the morning, I threw out the whey, then to the ricotta added 1 cup of confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon orange zest. That much filling has filled about 12 of these minis and there's still about a half cup more in the fridge. I'm going to try using granulated sugar next time, sweeter so use less, hoping to get it even dryer. Maybe add some marscapone. Ooh! Man, these cannoli are good! Fabulous product! Will definitely be buying again.

Danger! They trimmed off the photo of the allergy warning! It actually is not at all safe for those with nut allergies. I filled them and only after a health emergency, looked at the box to see that they have a nut-allergy warning. In the image, it appears only to show the egg and wheat warning. They cut off the part about nuts!

This is my second time purchasing these shells. The first was for my nephews graduation so they had to travel to Maine. They made it in their original packaging with only a few broken. The second box I received did not have one broken shell. The taste is good and texture on point. They even held up overnight in the fridge and still were good the next day. I would highly recommend.
