Great for under shrubs & plants.
Bought this to rake the leaves from under shrubs & plants. Works great but I'm afraid I'll break the plastic tines off. They seem a little flimsy but glad I don't have to get down on knees to clear the leave. Also levels the mulch well. Love the shovel part used to pick up debris quickly.

Great rake
I need this take to pick up a lot of leaves at one time. The long handle makes it easier on my back. Easy to use. The rake is very durable.

A must for Fall leaves
This is a wonderful tool for raking and lifting leaves into a receptacle.

Scoop rake, barn rake.
So you may well laugh at how I use this great rake. I needed a way to pick up dog poop in grass at times long grass, for 2 dogs in my fenced in yard and not get a back ache from all the bending over... This rake is similar to the barn rakes we use for cleaning horses stalls but forks are a bit closer together and this rake has a spoon shape at the pole so it works like a charm.

A must-have tool, with one design flaw
My first experience with this rake design was the "Rake Assassin" (also on Amazon). From the first time I used it, it became a must-have tool in my lawn care arsenal. The MLTOOLS Rake Shovel shares the same great concept - the rake is flexible enough to use in places where roots would inhibit a metal rake, but the tines are sturdier than most leaf rakes - so it's a "just right" Goldilocks experience. Once you've gathered your leaves, just flip it over and it becomes a shovel to pick the leaves up - I use it with my chipper to make great mulch. The only flaw is the telescoping shaft - even at full extension, it's a bit short for my height, and heavy use tends to loosen the telescoping adjustment, no matter how much you tighten it. So, of the two models - this MLTOOLS, and the "Rake Assassin", I would recommend the latter - even though it, also, suffers from a design problem with the screws that secure the handle to the shaft - after a year of heavy use, the screw hole in the shaft loosens to the point where it no longer holds the handle in place. The solution is to use larger screws, but they, too, wear into the shaft. A simple engineering fix of reinforcing the shaft screw hole would fix that.

Great for gum balls
Bought this based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. Shoveling gum balls was such a time saver. Also, being able to rake then shovel with 1 tool made doing the job more efficient. Do your back a favor and get this!

Telescoping handle
The telescoping handle is the reason for the three stars. Its great to use but the handle slips constantly. Its telescoping and does not stay at the set length.
