I have brass frame chairs that have 2 plugs on the top where the back of the seat rests between. Will this fit? Can't seem to find any brass plugs.

These are for sheet metal holes and will probably not work on applications to plug tube openings.

What are the tolerances for this part?

These plugs are made to snap into a 1” hole in sheet metal the dimension of the piece that snaps through the metal is 1.015” the head outside diameter is 1.38” and the overall height is .25” I have found that the tolerances are plus or minus .020” they vary by temperature as well.

With this plug work to plug a hole on a above ground doughboy swimming pool, can it be sealed to prevent leakage?

I am not exactly sure what a doughboy swimming pool is but they can be sealed into place to protect the liner on the inside of a metal pool. If you are plugging a 1 inch hole. I would ask your pool manufacturer what they recommend for best results.

The plug is made to snap into a 1 inch hole in sheet metal up to .090 thick. It’s overall diameter is around 1 1/4” to the edge of the flange.

Good Solution for the MGB Door Holes for the Wing Vent Mounting Bolts

Perfect replacement for MGB, wing vent mounting bolt holes on the front of the doors, beneath the windshield stays. Black is preferable to the OEM "whitish" plugs that stick out like a sore thumb when the doors are open. Easy to install and remove if needed. Quality appears to be very good. They stay put after installation.
