What is the largest equation? Or does it stop at the 12's?

There are no equations. It is a dry erase board. You fill in the equations yourself. You can write anything you want, limited only by how small you can write! :)

Where can I find a list of fact families to write in the corners?

There is no set list but the numbers in the lower corners are usually within 10 for adding and within 12 for multiplying. Pick any two numbers you want them to practice adding/subtracting or multiplying/dividing. The total or product goes in the yellow corner at the top.

I have a learning disability in math. do these have instructions? Can someone explain how you know what numbers go in the corners?

No instructions but you can search 'Fact Families' for ideas. These are terrific tools for teaching the relationship between addition / subtraction and multiplication / division. The top yellow part is for the answer and the two bottom green or blue parts are for the numbers that add / subtract / multiply / divide to get the answer. Example for Addition - Numbers: 12, 5, 7 the facts would be 5 + 7 = 12 ; 7 + 5 = 12 ; 12 -5 = 7 ; 12 - 7 = 5 Fact families! You can 'gamify' it by having your child roll two dice and fill in the number in the bottom parts then add (or multiply on the reverse) to find the number for the answer.
