I had surgery five weeks ago that left me with four scars on my stomach. Right before the summer such a tragedy, smh. Because I didn’t wanna deal with scarring during the summer trying to wear bikinis, I purchased this. It does dry down and leave this like film on your skin, which I dislike. But for the efficacy and quality, can’t complain. Mederma has been a household name for years because of its ability to reduce pigment and scarring, and I can’t deny that. It’s a thin gel consistency, and a little bit goes a long way. I apply this daily, the tiniest amount, because my scars are not that big. The progress is undeniable.

I got injured 2 months ago and have deep deep scaring, very dark in color scaring, I got instant results just 2 days of use and can already see a huge improvement in the coloring, already at least a shade or 2 lighter in color meaning the scars are fading. I can feel the cream working deep into the skin . Very happy with this product. First picture the scar was purple now it’s not. 2ed picture this foot is a lot worse in coloring haven’t seen much results but will continue use till results show.

This works! Even on crows feet and micro wrinkles. Great for scars, and fresh incisions that need to heal well. I know a person who had much work on their face, leaving many scars and places of deep scrapping. Ugh. This product was remarkable. I watched them change to their former soft skin, and profoundly less scars. The product goes on in gel form. Little tube to take wherever you may need, like travel. Mederma does NOT sting. So it works! Just slowly, and obviously old scars being even longer. I have deep old/dark scars on my bottom that are healing slowly. The small newer ones on my stomach heal within a month of use. My only is the size of the tube! Directions say to use once a day and that it can take up to 6 months on old scars... Knowing that, why don't they make a bigger size!? I'm on my 5th tube now and I started 3 months ago. It's annoying. Also when you think you're out, you aren't! Cut it open! There is a lot left in the tube that doesn't come out when you squeeze. Effectiveness: Yes it works, just slow. Stay consistent! Value for money: Pricy for a small tube. Overall: I'm happy and will continue to buy. This is the only thing that works on my old dark scars from acne.

Great for scars. Easy application, a small amount goes a long way. One tube lasts a long time! Great product for price.

Get sticky on the skin after use.

Well... To my surprise, the product works, but it doesn't just work, it works quite well. I don't normally review products that I often, but I feel like this is one of those where reviews kind of really count for people trying to get rid of scars. I think I had this scar for probably four or five months and I've been applying this product for about a little under a month + the trust me when I tell you, the scar was a lot more visible and you could actually spot it walking up to me. Now, you can't even see it walking up to me and I'm still haven't even reached a month yet of using this stuff. I suspect that within the next month, it'll probably be basically gone. If it was much older, it'd probably take a lot longer. So yes, the stuff actually works! Just make sure you don't put on too much or else it'll start peeling off. A little bit to cover it entirely so that it doesn't start peeling up, should do the trick. IMPORTANT NOTE: because I can imagine people who've never used this stuff might end up complaining about it. This stuff can make the area you apply it to, a little itchy. It's really not too bad, but your experience may be different. This is apparently a common thing when it comes to scar removal gels. That being said, if you experience itching, that's pretty common. Your skin will also start peeling. That's supposed to happen. I just exfoliate the area and the area and remove the dead skin. UPDATE: Dang, the scar is 90% gone. I shed a bit more skin and a bit more time later, here we are.

This was recommended by my surgeon, thought I would try it. It is easy to use, leaves no greasy effect, a little dap will do you, not, has a nice feeling. I tried it on my new scar and it is fading the appearance, so I started using it on an older scar and believe it or not, it is fading, remarkable. I will recommend this to others.
