Eagle Grip by Malco LP7R 7 in. Straight Jaw Locking Pliers

These pliers are beefy, not like some of the other cheap pliers that are thin and you can feel like they might bend if you put too much pressure on them. These pliers are thick, well built and you pay for what you get. Perfect size to tackle your projects, where they still fit comfortably in your tool pouch. You cannot go wrong with Malco Tools. I heard they shut down production of the eagle grips, so buy them while you can before they go out of stock forever.

These are the best locking pliers i've ever used, even better than my old Dewitt Vise-Grips. I noticed a review of one guy saying the teeth got chewed up after 2 or 3 uses - here's a fact: If you clamp on to something that is as hard or harder than the steel the tool is made of, your going to damage the teeth. Plain and simple. But if it can do it on that one job no other tool can, it's paid for itself. Definitely has the hardest teeth i've seen in a long time on everything i've used, barely even worn, and the fit and finish is what a tool SHOULD be. Love these and plan to buy another. So sad they are going out of business though.

After a year of use they're going strong. While other brands show wear or even strip metal off the jaws when used on hard steel these still look new. Well worth the extra money over cheap substitutes. The product is an example that paid attention to the details, got it right, and executed with superb quality. I'd happily buy this product again but that's the beauty of it's quality, unless I lose it I wont have to ever replace it. This is a heirloom tool that I fully expect my children will still be using long after I'm gone.

WOW—that was my first thought when opening the box and picking them up for the first time. I’ve been watching and waiting for this company to finally open their product line up and was it worth the wait! These are definitely the highest quality of locking pliers I’ve ever picked up. They are extremely durable, one can tell no corners were cut when making them. On top of that they are extremely good looking and feel great in the hand. Their grip strength is incredibly strong, plus the teeth bite since they aren’t made with butter steel. 110% worth the money I will be buying their whole product line.

These are the BEST locking pliers available! Snap-On tools also sell's the same exact pliers but they have their brand name stamped on the handle and they charge $90. So i encourage anyone to buy these Eagle Grip's before they're all gone. Don't pay stupid Snap-On prices for these same pliers.

Love the fit finish and function, Super well made, no slop in the jaw alignment, Super polished and chromed. Actually a bit slick and hard to hold onto, if nit-picking. Love the Made In USA! So pricey, tho.
