Exactly what I wanted
serves the purpose and works great, the only problem is that depending upon where it is located there is a noticeable hum of other interference. Some of this may be due to the computer equipment in close proximity of the inter com

TOO NOISY
TRIED DIFFERENT OUTLETS, DIFFERENT BREAKER BARS, ALL CHANNELS, WAY TOO MUCH NOISE. I AM RETURNING THIS PRODUCT AND LOOKING FOR A WIRELESS UNIT.

Convenient boxes
The item was delivered as ordered before the estimated delivery date. The package was in good shape and the item performs as advertised.My daughter gave me a set of these. I liked them so much I bought another set for the rest of the house. I had to play around with the positioning of the boxes to find the right circuit to avoid excess noise. I recommend this for people who want better communication in their home or office.

Certain amount of this works, but not dependable or worked well enough for me to keep. It does work, but as other reviewers noted, it depends which outlet is used, etc. Our house is newer, but we still had the problem of it only working with some, but not all the outlets. Hit or miss really. For us, too many misses to keep it.
