Yes it should work but depends on the liquid solution, if it’s too viscous, it will be a jet instead of spray

I believe it does. Especially if you carry it empty then it's no problem at all. If you do have water in it I think technically you'd have to remove it and put it in the baggie with your other liquids. But it's so easy to just dump it out and refill it when you get where you're going and then it's not an issue.
