These are as far as I am concerned the very best dies on the market. They are far better than most, the seating crimp die has a nice guide tube the keeps bullet in place on top of case. Really nice, durability is just top notch and accuracy of the dies I am really happy with. I set and forget. The expander die is a one set and go. The sleaved deprimer pin works really well on the resize die.

This die set is exactly what I expected in build quality and ease of use - I've used Hornady dies for years and will continue to use them. I've never had to repair or replace a set, which I cannot say about the 'other brand' that I also use. There are a few distinctive things about the way they are built that you might encounter (decapping spindle slipping, for one) but once you get it figured out and get them set up right, it's easily disregarded. Read the directions, then read them again when you encounter something that seems odd.

I am really impressed with the design and workmanship exhibited by Hornady reloading dies. This is not my first set of Hornady dies and definitely will not be my last.

The die set came in a timely manner... They work as they should...

I am a novice reloader and purchased this set of dies as my first set to go along with my Hornady AP press. I don't have any perspective as far as other brands go, but these dies seem to do their job rather well. I decap my used brass by hand so I can clean the primer pocket prior to reloading but the sizer and expander seem to do their job as designed. The only reason this product lost a star is because of the seating die. I'm not entirely certain if it is user error or product design error, but in my first set of 5 shells I turned the lip of a nickel plated casing while seating a bullet in the case. It was only one wasted round, but a bit disconcerting being in the first 5 casings I've ever loaded. Hopefully it was just user/beginner error. All in all this is a sound product, I would recommend, especially if using on a Hornady press.
