Perfect water station!
We love this! We were looking at some that were battery powered and found this instead, so glad we went with it! Not only is it big enough for multiple toddlers to play in at once but also keeps them interested and tires them out with the pump! It’s easy to clean and to assemble. Our kids spent hours on this and even ignored their new play set so they could splash around in this! Highly recommend!

It is sturdy and requires minimal assembly!
This is a great outdoor play set for little ones. I purchased it for my great granddaughter who is five and her brother who is two. They played with it all afternoon even before it was set up outside.

Wonderful product
My 1 year old and his 3 year old friend had a great time playing with this fun water table. It’s a great size and my child will be able to use this for many years. The assembly was very easy and it’s not very heavy. One little quirk with the pump is that you have to pump hard and fast. If you just pump slowly, no water will ever come out. It may be a challenge for little kids. The 3 year old wasn’t able to pump it hard or fast enough. So, the adults had to keep taking turns. The pump is really fun when you get it going though.

Would be five stars but pump stops working almost immediately
Final update almost a year after buying. I see reviews saying it was a tube falling off problem. That may be the case for them, but we have the repair kit that stops that and it still did not work- you have to unscrew the pump and put a lube on it like aquaphor/Vaseline every couple of uses to keep the pump working. These are instructions directly from the manufacturer. We called Step 2 again and this is the “fix”. It does work when you do this. But what a complete pain! A water table should not require unscrewing parts, applying lube, and reassembling several times over the summer. Please test your products better before releasing Step 2!*** Kid you not - it broke again- this time when I was pumping it for them so I know it wasn’t being misused! I bought this in May for my kids and it’s now August. Instead of having fun with this table all summer, it’s been endless phone calls, waiting on shipments, and repairing. Now we are past the Amazon return window so it’s just a loss for us (over $100)- unless we want to continue calling and waiting each time it breaks for a new part that lasts- at most- two weeks. I expect more from step 2!*** Hopefully last updateStep 2 sent another pump and this one has been working for a few weeks. I’m tentatively updating the stars if it continues working. The pump is hard for even my nine year old to pump, therefor I’m giving it four stars. I have heard some people use silicone spray for this problem, but for this price, and after three re-assemblies from broken pumps, I’m not also purchasing spray to make it work better ** Update: After waiting on hold for over an hour again, Step 2 sent out a 3-d printed part that attaches to the bottom of the pump tube to fix the pump problem. It did absolutely nothing. The pump still does not work. When will they address the actual problem with the pump- the seal that moves and becomes stuck within a day or two? My husband even sent them a short video showing the problem, which they ignored. At this point, we are considering returning since we’ve had this product for weeks and the main feature remains unusable- but my kids are so disappointed and this thing will be a huge pain to return. I wish they would work out an actual solution! We have many Step 2 toys that have lasted almost a decade and I’m so thoroughly disappointed in the lack of adequate engineering in this product as well as inadequate testing before going to market.**I will update my product review if/when Step2 fixes the pump problem. As of now, the pump stops working after a day or two. Other reviewers have had the same problem. Step 2 was very nice and sent a replacement pump, but it also stopped working after two days. If the pump did not fail so quickly, I would easily give this pond five stars. We bought it to replace our water table to better suit our kids (9,6,2) because the older kids still love water tables but most tables are too short for them to play comfortably. This one is tall enough for easy play for the big kids and short enough for the toddler in other areas. Most children under three will not be old enough to operate the pump but there are many other entertaining areas! A great design (minus the pump problem) for all ages! As of now, I would not order this pond until they work out the pump problem. I will update my review when the problem is resolved.

Great for Kids, But Be Ready for Assembly Challenges!
The media could not be loaded. We bought the Step 2 Pump & Splash Discovery Pond Water Table for our 3-year-old, and it has quickly become a backyard favorite! Assembly was a bit challenging—there are no pre-drilled holes, so you’ll need to muscle through screwing into plastic with just a screwdriver. It’s doable but requires some patience.Once it was together, though, the fun began! Our toddler loves splashing, scooping, and playing with the water features. The pump does take some effort—our little one isn’t strong enough to get it going consistently—but that’s actually a bonus since it means this toy will grow with her. Older kids visiting us were able to pump easily, making it a hit for all ages.If you’re looking for a water table that’s engaging and built to last, this is a great choice. Just have a little extra patience during assembly—it’s worth it!

Money well spent!
A favorite for my two grandsons, aged 5 and 1. Super sturdy and holds a lot of water! The pic is the 5 yr old. Large enough for the two of them to play in the water. Easy to lift and tilt to dump water out and clean. Highly recommend for safe cooling off in the summer.
