SOLID TEXTURE & TASTE of old world mature chestnuts.---[ crumbled up together in a pack ]
The order was placed on December 18, 2018 and the package arrived yesterday, January 11. 2019. The order was placed because they--as they put it "crackling marron glace" --looked so enticingly yummy in the photo, when I was debating which brands of marrons glaces to be ordered;--- and the real products indeed backed the enticing photo up. They tasted exactly what of the old world kind, -- that I remember as a child many decades ago. And I was curious as I did not know prior that they made marron glace for export from Osaka, Japan. The seller was generous as well and gave a bit over one kilo worth.--making worthwhile when compared in ounce per cost, even though the delivery time was three weeks. [ I weighed the package and it came to 2.5 pounds --- rather than 2.2 pounds for one kilo.] This one is for keep --for my personal use throughout the year.
