How does this item differ from ac delco oe part #24208576?

One is for the 4L60E with shallow oil pan and the other is for 4L60E with deeper oil pan

will this fit 2008 RWD chevy colorado

No, it does not fit. I just found out... I dropped my pan on my 08 colorado 2.9L RWD. This filter is too short. We need the one that, when installed, comes down 3 inches from the trans mating surface. This one is under 3 inches, so if you do manage to get it in there and installed, it could potentially drop a bit down, if not all the way out of the seal passage, which would then cause the fluid to basically bypass the filter. Not good. Do not use this for 2008 colorado 2.9L RWD!

Filter is different from OEM

The filter caused the dipstick to pop out And cause so much ATF to squirt all over the engine causing rough shifting in the transmission, my car is 2007 Chevy Tahoe z71. Had to buy a new part. Wont recommend this to anyone

Fit perfect in my 2001 GMC Yukon. Torque the pan bolts to 50 inch pounds. Don’t over tighten. No leaks.
