Lovely book telling The Nutcracker Ballet story
I'm 78 and took my two great granddaughters - ages 4 and 8 - to see The Nutcracker ballet. I purchased the book thinking we would read the book and look at the pictures prior to attending the ballet. The 8-year-old wasn't interested but the 4-year-old and myself read the book and looked at the pictures. The pictures in the book are lovely and the story was easy to understand and not too long. We all enjoyed the ballet. If nothing else, the book refreshed my memory as to the ballet story.

Whimsical and charming
This book was as beautiful as the rest of her books. I was so excited to add this to our collection. My boys love to talk about the heroic nutcracker and evil king mouse and I was so excited to try out this book for our annual Christmas book. It is so creative. It is not gendered and my boys enjoyed the book the way it was designed and written. We loved the details and the animals representing the different dances. Very happy with our purchase.
