Bohning The Strip-Pro

I use to use a box knife and a putty knife to remove fletch and glue but this thing saves me half the time and is much easier to use. It's so efficient and consistent at removing the fletch with a nice sharp blade, set at the perfect angle to not damage the carbon arrow. The blade is pretty durable, holding up to a couple dozen arrows so far. I was a little hesitant to buy because of the price but after having used it, I feel like it's a great value.

I did 32 vanes the first time that I used this tool. I like that the blade can be stored away when it's not in use. It fits good in your hand and the blade is not overly sharp so that it is dangerous but it does take off the glue the way it's supposed to. Pleased with this purchase.

Removes old fletchings with ease. Can gouge carbon fiber shaft if the angle is too great; so take it slow to achieve a high quality result.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been fletching arrows for decades and always remove the worn ones with a Jack knife. Wow, this tool makes that process easier. Way easier. There is a good rubber grip that makes removing a feather or vane an easy swipe of the cutter and then the finishing curved blade on the end easily picks off any remaining glue. The video shows how quick it is, and results in a nice clean finish. An essential if you are doing much arrow work.

Im going through my amazon purchases. This doesn't look anything like the one i got. Maybe it changed since i got min. Mine doesn't have that tip, only the one on side (scraper). It works fine. Just caught my attention that its not the same. But yeah, works great lol

Took me 20 seconds to strip my first arrow that had to much superglue on it. Made it a breeze to fletch that arrow.
