I am very happy with this product. Set up is simple and windows 10 finds the driver. But it is important to use the disk or find the drivers online as it will improve the speed and connectivity reliability.Pros:1. Distance was improved significantly from PCI Dlink Wireless N Extreme card.2. Internet speed improved and exceeded expectations I now have the bandwidth to achieve my 105-125mbps speeds on wifi.3. It uses a Realtek chip and I have always had good products that use Realtek (not one of the dodgy generic chips).4. Extremely small and has a removable antenna which will come in handy for adding larger antenna if needed.5. USB 3.0 , it can use the bandwidth of modern fast USB 3.0 interface making it super fast with plenty of headroom.6. Transfer speed over the AC wireless network through my Gigbit network to my Gigbit WD NAS driver were as expected and exceptional speeds.Cons:Zero - I have yet to find an issue with this device.I will be ordering a few more of these for my HTPC and for travel. Sadly I ordered a Gigbyte PCI-e wireless AC card for my wifes computer and it wouldn't show up in the hardware manager and when it did it was in an error state in a clean Win 10 environment. So long story short a USB dongle for about half the price out does a name brand card, as an IT person this is the FIRST time I've seen this!

The product worked as advertised. It works on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and supports 2.4Ghz frequency as I wasn't able to test on 5Ghz frequency just yet.I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch early 2011 model (see screenshot) running Mac OS X 10.11.6 and my internal airport wifi died. Since I couldn't be without my Macbook for an extended period of time, I needed a USB Wifi adaptor that was compatible with OS X 10.11 until I could determine if my internal wifi card failed or the cable connecting the wifi card to the motherboard was the culprit. Turns out it was the Airport Bluetooth Flex Cable that connects the internal wifi card to the motherboard that failed ( Brand New Airport Bluetooth Flex Cable for Apple MacBook Pro 15" A1286 2011 821-1311-A ). Purchasing a new flex cable solved the problem. The Linkpal did the trick and allowed me to still use my Macbook to connect to the internet while I resolved the issue.Pros:- Dual-band frequency for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz to ensure you can use it with any available frequencies while mobile.- Easy software install. If you need to uninstall the software, an uninstaller program is available as well.- Affordable price- USB dongle is small enough not to interfere with adjacent USB ports on your MacBook or Macbook Pro laptop.- Driver installer providers drivers for Mac, Linux, Windows, and Windows 10 (See screenshot)- Compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.x through to 10.11.x at the time of this reviewCons:- The USB dongle is a bit large- Adjusting the antenna can require a little care as the entire USB dongle moves. Could use a more tighter or snug fit in the USB slot.I would recommend this product for anyone who needs an wireless network alternative solution for laptops or desktops that can't be connected to the home network using wires. This product is also a great backup solution to have handy should any computer's internal wifi networking card has failed. For $20 bucks, you can keep this handy in your desk drawer or your laptop bag when those situations arise.

I'm impressed with this adapter.I was a little skeptical that this adapter would perform better than the older card adapter I was using, but I've been pleasantly surprised that it has.Easy to install on my Win 7 desktop. Simply put in the CD and download the drivers and plug in the device. Took a few minutes.This card reaches my max download speed of 45 mbps when there are few devices connected to our network (we have multiple phones, computers and tv's connected at once), something my older wireless card adapter didn't do (it would max out at 34 mbps). I consistently have 5 bars, where before, I would only get 4. More importantly, it provides a stable connection which is important when I play my online game.I am happy with this adapter and would definitely recommend it.
