My dog gets spastic when someone is outside. She is worse if they come up our driveway no matter how many times she has seen them. She whines so loud and annoyingly then starts jumping on the window. She has tore up the sill and we're afraid she's going to bust the window and get hurt. I don't have the heart to shock my own dog or any animal.This collar is a vibration collar. It comes in a small box with the collar, the vibration unit, 2 sets of posts, 4 batteries in 2 cute little cases, and a tool to tighten the posts. Also included are instructions. The collar is long so it will fit a large variety of sizes. If you need it smaller or don't like the end it can be cut but be sure to singe it to prevent it from fraying.This is pretty easy to put together. When you attach the prongs, the small ones are for short haired dogs and the long ones are for long haired dogs. They're to just touch the skin to ensure they feel the vibration. It only takes one battery so you have 3 spares.The vibration unit vibrates pretty strong and is something that works for my dog. It wont work for all dogs. On the bottom is an LED light that lights up when the unit is being activated by a park. On either side are buttons to adjust the sensitivity lower or higher. In between the two posts is a hole. This is where the sound will go through to activate it. You can blow in the hole to activate it yourself to test it. The virbation of the air is strong when it is blown directly into it.When this unit is activated it first beeps as a warning. If the dog barks or whines (depending on the settings for your needs) again it beeps again but longer. The third time it beeps the longer tone and vibrates. The fouth time it beeps the longer tone and vibrates longer. It progesses up to seven times. If the dog is silent for 30 seconds it will start over. If it makes it to seven levels it wont active again for a few minutes.This works great on my dog. She doesn't like vibration and thankfully it is human. I've made a lot of recommendations for these style collars but it depends on the dog and what would bother them.Keep it mind that this isn't waterproof. Also, no training collar should be left on when the dog is unattended.

This dog collar is very well made very sturdy, and very easy to use. To use simply follow the direction to slip on the anti bark part of the device and then you fix it around your dog's neck to ascertain the size that you need of the collar. I did find that I needed to trim off the excess as it didn't have a place to clip it in securely and once I did that it did begin to fray so I had to heat the end of the fabric with a lighter to make it smooth and where it would not fray. I must say I was surprised at how well this works my dog used to bark all the time and when we put this on him it really reduce the amount of the barking too very close to No barking at all now. My dog does not mind having this color on it does not affect him in anyway he doesn't mind it it is just like another thing around its neck its not very big the device so it doesn't get in the way of anything. I answered when I put the color on before I cut the excess fabric that I could slip a finger between the back of a collar and his next was it was comfortable and I just can't get over the difference he hardly works at all now. My dog is not mind having a scholar on and is not affect am in anyway he doesn't mind it was a just like another thing around the neck it's not very big the device I would ever get in the way of anything. I am sure when I put the colorado before I cut the excess fabric that I could put the finger between the back of a collar and his neck of the woods comfortable and I just can't get over the difference a harley park. This anti bark Dog Collar device is very well made very well designed and I believe that it will hold up for quite a while on my dog and I will get full use of it and I really like the concept of this.

I just received this. This is *not* a no-shock collar. It has two electrodes for just that function. From the poor english in the instructions, it is clear that the manufacturer can't differentiate between vibration and electric shock.There are plastic caps included but even if they are used, they will still contact and put pressure on the dog's skin.The sensitivity is unreliable and triggering is all over the map.This is going back right away.

My dog barks incessantly when he's bored. He won't bark when someone comes to the door or meets a new person. He doesn't bark when he wants something. Only when he's bored. I get it... he has a really cute bark - for the first 30 seconds. After that, not so cute. The first time he wore this collar, he didn't hear the first 2-3 warning beeps. It got to the point of buzzing. It startled the daylights out of him and he stopped barking. A few minutes later, he barked again and was startled by the beep. Silence. A few minutes after that, he barked. BEEEEP. VIBRATION, Silence. And it's been silence ever since. Life is so much better now. It's been a week - I hardly ever hear him bark now. The household is peaceful now. And this collar is safe. I was worried for nothing. Thanks

In my experience, this collar had a hairline trigger that caused it to go off everytime my dog's collar or tags moved. I tried changing the sensitivity settings, replaced batteries, etc. However, none of it seemed to help -- it went off about 10 or so times (many with escalating vibrations) in 30 minutes when my dog and I went from home to car to office with nary a bark from my poor confused pup. I threw it in the trash. It can't serve as a training tool if the dog doesn't understand what behavior it's trying to correct.

Highly recommended dog collar to prevent barking, from a very nice seller. It works very well for what we needed with our little Jack Russell and have already recommended the product to some friends who've had similar dog problems. It doesn't hurt the dog which is the best part. My order was delivered on time and the quality overall looks very good. I hope it continues to work as good as it has so far.
