In July 1809 the Austrian troops, commanded directly by the Archduke Karl himself, were defeated by Napoleon during the Battle of Wagram. The figures may be used for the reproduction of the riflemen regiments or for Grenadiers Corps Reverse commanded by Liechtenstein.

Solid figures overall
Got these to paint up for wargaming and they were exactly as shown in the pictures. The figures are pretty well detailed and accept paint well. About a third of these figures are grenadiers, which is good variety but means fewer poses for each troop type. There are some annoying seams and flash, and some figures lack detail in places, but overall the poses are all good and they look good painted up. Italeri's later set improved upon a lot of the points I've mentioned, but unfortunately those are also too large to be used alongside most others, so this is probably the best set of 1:72 Austrians you'll get for your money.
