Exactly what I needed to replace the original plastic one that broke. Precision made and looks great!

Easy to install and works well!

The product does the job, and comes with two Allen wrenches for the two different set screws. One is on the thin, threaded collar, to lock it, and the other is to lock the larger collar to the flagpole. It's nice that an extra, long pair of set screws is included for locking to the flagpole. I needed to use one because one of the shorter set screws was not as long as the other one, and wouldn't lock to my pole. I took the threaded collars off and generously lubricated the moving parts with lithium grease, based on other reviews. I wonder if I should put some thread locker on the set screw for the flagpole. Apparently it is important how far apart you set the collars on the flagpole. You don't want to stretch the flag tightly, but you do want to set the collars so that they are a bit wider than the flag's grommets. Since I put the flag up with these it has yet to wrap up around the pole. What I don't like: What I received does not match the photos on Amazon. It's smaller, shorter. But it's adequate. Not worth returning. And is it worth what I paid? If it lasts, I guess so. People complain about the mounting clips wearing out quickly. I haven't had it long, but I can see why they would/might. The connection from the rotating piece to the clip to the flag is awkward. It needs another link to prevent the parts from binding. I just improvised by making small loops with cable ties. Metal loops would be better. And should have been included. Also, the copy claims (I think) that the clips are made of aircraft aluminum. This I strongly doubt. They look and feel cheap, not strong.

These items are machined well and seem strong.

Great product good quality

I bought a 40-dollar Costco flag kit. It worked, and I love the mounting bracket, but the clips that hold the flag are cheap plastic. They stretch and bend, and eventually, the flag does not flow, it wraps. I had to break the upper clips on the pole with pliers. These worked like a charm. Even in high Colorado wind, the flag is unfurled and waving in the breeze. Does my veteran heart good. Solid upgrade to a crap offering from Costco and Virginia Flag Company.

FINALLY!! Something that actually works & 100% fixed my flag wrapping around the pole issue. Old Glory looks amazing again!

Works ok. Does not seem to spin easily. In low wind, it will not spin around to show true wind direction.
