Great glass
I used these while hunting. They would get 5 stars but the neck strap is very uncomfortable, I have no idea why they don’t include a chest harness, Leupold makes one, that I purchased and really makes this a comfortable fit. Seriously ditch the neck strap Leupold and just include the chest harness instead. Additionally the rubber protective cups on the front of the glasses are worthless, I took them off because they have a tendency to fall off and I knew they wouldn’t make it back to the truck. Leupold should mold in a groove and use tighter fitting bands to hold them in place. As far as the binoculars themselves they are very bright and really clear optics. I have leica, swarovski and zeiss, the Leupold glass is at least as good and falls in the middle of them on the price. A few minor issues but happy with them.

Used or refurbished item shipped
Binoculars seem OK and they are definitely the make/model I want. But there are indications that someone else had used and returned them, and then they were reshipped to me as being new. Rip in box, debris on all lenses even though item arrived with lens caps on, light scuffing on rubber pieces attached to lenses. When I pay $1,000 for an item, I expect it to arrive brand new in the box. Especially from a company like Leupold. Still considering returning them.

Great Binoculars with Apparent Quality Control Issues
I returned these binoculars because the dioplor wheel was so stiff it was almost impossible to adjust accurately. Also, in side-by-side comparison tests, it’s optical crispness seemed inferior to 10X42 model I ultimately purchased instead. As for the accessory neck strap on either model, I wouldn’t trust it period.
