LT Assault 2 Boot

Howdy, I’m a corpsman is the navy, been using these for about 6 months. Comfortable and lightweight for office work, and still durable and have good ankle support for running, rucking, pt, and more. I use them for everything, and currently in the Middle East where the sun has faded them a little but they are still very functional and good. I would definitely buy again if they where not getting phased out and recommend them to other branches.

Look great, very light, feels like wearing sneakers.

This is my second pair of Oakley combat boots. I’ve had both these and a pair of Garmonts. The Oakley’s are by far my favorite. They aren’t quite as durable as some of the more rugged brands but if you don’t mind buying a new pair of boots every year or 2, these beat the rest when it comes to comfort. Feels like a tennis shoe when on. The only downside for rucking in these is the lack of ankle support and lower durability. But like I said if you don’t mind buying a new pair more often these are S tier.

These Oakley LT Assault 2 Boots are legit. Super lightweight, almost like wearing sneakers, but still tough enough for long days on your feet. Great traction, solid ankle support, and breathable even in the heat. No break-in needed. Only small gripe is the laces feel a bit thin—but easy to replace. Perfect for range, work, or everyday wear.

Tried these on a a couple 6's and a 12 miler so now I can leave a legit review. I've used the Garmont t8 since about 2013. The build quality of that boot has declined so I decided to look for other options and went to this because I remember this being another great option that a lot of people were using back in the day. They're comfortable, lightweight, and I feel like I can jog pretty well in them but the toe box is extremely tight. I don't have wide feet but the toe box on this is just really narrow. So while I would say this is a great boot for walking around in and doing a 12 miler would be fine without jogging, if you think you're going to start jogging in these and feel great, have some ice ready for your pinky toes. I know everybody has different shaped feet but for me, mine are pretty "normal" and even on the narrow end. I'm still going to wear these and my feet are just going to have to learn to love it but just be ready for a little bit of extra break-in before you start jogging/running in these.

They are pretty and of good quality

So lightweight and comfortable. Definitely a game changer.

I love these boots. No steel toe and super light yet durable. Great traction For everyday use. My only issue isn’t with the boots themselves but the Navy is no longer authorizing these bad boys for wear. The black ones are still okay but the brown ones go out on the last day of calendar year 2025. If not military, highly recommend these boots.

ウォーキングで天気の悪い日や長距離を歩く時に履いています。 登山やハイキングでは使用していないため本来の用途とは違いますが、アウトソールのグリップが素晴らしくさすがビブラムといった感じです。 ミッドカットで足首をしっかり保持してくれるのでとても歩きやすいです。でもそのホールド力が違和感に感じる人もいるかもしれません。 インソールはあまりクッション性は無い印象です、自分は歩く時はその方が好きなので気にしていませんが。 唯一の不満点としては、靴紐がほどけやすく、結び直すのが煩わしく感じることが多々あります。 靴紐を別で購入予定ですが、そこを改善してくれると尚良いです。
