Does this work for 2015 mazda 6?

But it does take mechanical aptitude and the ability to read, follow and understand directions to do the install properly. Failure to even minimally read the directions and follow them step-by-step will cause you many issues and probably prevent the device from working.

After remote start, what is the procedure to drive off once you get in the car? Is it just foot on brake and drive off or restart car?

A foot on the brake is all that is required. When you actuate the remote start the doors will briefly unlock then relock. Once you are at the car you will have to unlock them with the door button or the remote. After entering the car just step on the brake, give it a second to make the transition back to the car brain from the remote brain and you're good to go. My wife was constantly hitting the push button first which makes the engine turn off. Took a while to get it understood that even though that was how she wanted to work that wasn't correct! Go figure...
