The Meditation Prayer Altar was expertly made and arrived exactly as I expected it. My only advice to EarthBench is since the wood is hand oiled I would advise to ship the altar in something other styrofoam peanuts. Several of them stuck to the wood and remnants of the foam attached to the wood.

Way smaller than what you think

this is a very solid table/bench. I am glad I purchased it and may buy another. I am using this for my personal practice shrine (Vajrayana). I keep the table on a platform for a bit of added height (and the platform provides a place for kitties, so they don't perch on the actual shrine.) This table is solid wood, well-balanced, and strong. I have tried sitting on it as a bench a couple times (its original intended purpose was as a meditation bench), and it held up very well - I weigh over 250lbs. As a shrine table, I expect to own this for life.
