Just no to this product
I've bought lots of clay pebbles for plants and these are by far the worst, most disgustingly filthy, broken, black, not at all as shown. Don't buy these, there are so much better quality ones available. These are not it. Trash

Not your ordinary clay
This so-called clay, described as Leca somewhere else, is not suitable as substrate for lotus plant.I have soaked them for days but they still float. The cross-section in the photo shows a rock-hard substance, consistency of which is similar to hardened lava rock used to rub off caluses; full of air pockets and encased in a shell. It may be useful for aesthetic display, but not for the purpose that ordinary clay is meant to do.

Does not absorb water at all, dries out quickly
Does not absorb water at all, dries out very quickly, a lot in the bag for multiple small plants, doesn’t smell, no bugs

Too small.
The pebbles were much smaller than I expected. They either fell out through the pot’s drainage holes, or they got stuck in the holes, preventing any water from draining.

Will not buy again - Defective Package or False Advertising?
The pebbles are not at all like the ones shown in the pictures and videos. About half the pebbles in the bag are broken or misshapen. Even the color is not consistent with the photos or with each other. Attached are pictures of just a small sample of what is in the bag. There is muddy water even after five thorough washes.

These Clay Pebbles came very defective with so many broken ones. I’m returning them back. The ones from ikea are better need to just stick with those.

Messy
Arrived in package with other item and side of item bag was ripped is all the pebbles were loose. Everything was dustand some where crushed. Wasn't happy with the mess

Mold Warning
I have had these for close to 2 months now and they continue to develop mold in every plant I have put them in. I have rinsed and soaked them for 24+ hours twice now, the second time with alcohol. At this point I have removed them from my plants and will be discarding them. Super disappointed.
