Clip Quickly
These clippers are nice and sharp. Although they don't have the metal handle, they are surprisingly robust and work easily. Good value for the $! Came promptly.

cuts thick nails smoothly, with ease
This is an awesome nail clipper. I have used it for over a year. By far, the best nail clipper I have ever used. Clips thick toe nails with smoothly with ease as well as thin finger nails.

Built to last and designed to actually work
If you’ve ever struggled with cheap flimsy clippers that bend before they cut, these are a welcome upgrade. The KOHM clippers feel substantial and well thought out — the wide mouth opening handles thick nails without the usual fighting and repositioning. The design is noticeably smarter than average. Everything about how these are built suggests someone actually considered how nail clippers get used, not just how they look on a shelf. Durability is the real standout here. These feel like they’ll outlast several rounds of the cheap alternatives — solid construction that holds up without any flex or wobble after repeated use. Bottom line: Well designed, built to last, and easy to recommend for anyone dealing with thick nails who’s tired of clippers that don’t cut it. A worthy upgrade.

These are wicked sharp
Stop buying those cheap nail clippers you see at the dollar store or even the more expensive ones elsewhere. The cheapies are just gonna shatter your nails and leave you a burr you need to sand down, and the more expensive ones aren't going to do what these bad boys do. First of all, the fact that they open super wide is a big help with getting them seated right under your toe nails, if you have a difficult time bending to reach your feet or bending your legs to where you can actually trim them easier. Not being spring loaded helps a lot with putting pressure down to cut through the nail, but you won't even need to really do that. The main reason for that being that these puppies are stupid sharp. Take a piece of paper and try to cut it with your old nail clippers. They might do it, but not as clean and as smooth as these will. These will chop through your nail like a hot knife through butter. Because they do such a good job doing that, you don't actually have to worry as bad about the nail you trimmed flying across the room like your old pair will do. Another plus side to the wide opening on the mouth is that you can more easily clean these clippers, if you even need to do that. A neat little trick with these too, if you ever need to trim the end of a zip tie, these will go through it better than a pair of scissors or even a razor blade, leaving it smooth and rounded. Definitely not the intended use for these but hey, a good use is a good use, keep your ties neat and your or someone else's arms unsliced.

RAZOR SHARP KOLM NAIL CLIPPER
Oh my god, this kohm nail clipper is crazy sharp. I have been using the brookstone nail clipper for the last 20 years and it is mechanically dull. I decided to break the bank to get this new clipper. I am so used to the dull brookstone clipper I cut it very close to the skin. Oh boy, I almost bled so I backed off a little using this crazy sharp clipper that takes very little effort. i used to put a lot of force to clamp down my old clipper and hoping it will cut right. After I finished cutting my nail, I could feel my wrist was a little off. I am happy to own this new razor sharp clipper. I don't care much about the nails not retaining in the groove. My nails just fly off while I cut and my pooch scouts some of it and eats it. He must have a panda stomach. I don't know why he likes to eat my nails. I know it is kind of gross but it does not bother me, maybe most of you. I'm just telling you what it is.

Well made but not for my feet
I liked these clippers but found the curve of the jaw too aggressive. I could cut the nail about a third of the way from either side, but could not cut the middle of my big toenail reasonably. My best efforts caused the points of the jaw to separate the nail from the finger tip flesh. If I used them less determinedly, I still had a half-moon of long nail in the middle of my big toe. I tried to cut the nail halfway through from each side and gave myself a hangnail when the edge of the curve separated the edge of the nail from the nail bed like a knife. These are crazy sharp, and as a result, they cut whatever they touch first. I had not realised that duller clippers give you some ability to adjust during the cut. Once I got used to being very precise about lining them up, they cut cleanly and easily through anything. I like to use my clippers to trim my toe tip calluses. These are way too sharp for that. They will cut live flesh as easily as dead skin. So, so sharp. I'm torn, because I found these unusable, but of extremely high quality and perfectly functional. I use them now to trim my dogs' nails.

Superior clipper
My toenails are really thick as I'm sixty two , but I persevered with ordinary , store bought , generic nail clippers you can get virtually anywhere until I stubbed my big toe on a slightly elevated concrete slab . We all know what that feels like , right ? You stub it so hard that it doesn't hurt straight away but when the pain comes it comes in a big wave . It lasted about ten minutes until it eventually subsided . The toenail turned black a few days later but it didn't fall off and another one grew underneath , so I was left with trying to trim two toenails a little over a millimetre thick and the store bought clippers couldn't handle it . These Kohn STEEL clippers went through the nail like a hot knife through butter . Thoroughly recommend . Far superior to anything I've used in the past .
