Ya canโt just order a steak well done.
What can i say, but this 6600, is reliable and well done all around.

Worked perfectly
Worked way better than the transistor setup I was using to drive a stepper before. Just so you know, there's ZERO documentation in the box- you just get the device and not a single scrap of paper comes with it. Use the documentation on this page AND note that for the dip switches the ON direction is down. Only thing they were really missing was how long you need to make the pulse on the pulse pins, or how much time you need on the enable or direction pins before the changes take effect. I used 30 microseconds on the pulse pins and it doesn't seem to miss any steps. Maybe less is fine, but that worked for me and I didn't need it to be faster so I left it at that.

Very robust, reliable and easy to configure.
This works very well. Pay close attention to the manual as it is important to get all the inputs correct to get the system to work. The connections are robust and easy to use. The system works very well and does not get hot even while driving a motor with the maximum current allowed.

As expected (thumbs up)
Works well, and good documentation out there. Got ahold of it and working within an hour.

Buyer BEWARE!
Beware. The listing says "Suitable for drive Two-phase stepping motor dynamic voltage 9V to 42V, the maximum drive current is less than 4A." And, on the case it has all sorts of settings leading up to about 4A. What a joke. The most these drivers produce is about 1A. I have 3 of them, they are all the same. If you are pushing around a laser or maybe a 3D printer they will probably work. But forget using them on any type of mill/router. They sort of work. Very, very limited. After replacing them with a much better brand, my machine now runs about 3X times faster in cuts. Imagine that! as the saying goes "the cheap quality remains long after the low price is forgotten"

Great device, NO INSTRUCTIONS (except on the listing here)!
Great little stepper driver. I love the fact that this one runs the motor and logic at the same voltage (many others limit logic to 5V, which is not common in industrial applications - 24V is the standard! Device works great, but there are no instructions provided with it. What's more, other users have shown pictures for wiring which are good, but they have different graphics on the body of the part. So, that's a little disappointing, but I know enough to get through it. The other problem is that the ENA signal shows that it needs a voltage (the icon implies that there is an opto-isolator so you need to provide voltage to light it up. Unfortunately, the ENA label is misleading - powering this line will DISABLE the motor, not ENAble it. Ideally, the ENA should be !ENA or ENA with the bar over it... it's a negative signal. This means you can leave it disconnected and the motor will work fine... I asked the seller about this, and they were very helpful, so that was refreshing. I suggested they should update the ENA label, so we'll see if that happens or not. The rest is great - all works well for my small motor, so I'm happy. I took a star off for the mislabeled input and lack of instructions. Take a look at the instructions provided by other users, and just be aware that the ENA is backwards... and you should be all set!
