A strong food processor with very sharp blades. Definitely made food prep easier and faster.

This mini chopper is great. It has a larger jug capacity and is more powerful than the chopper that came with my stick blender... it’s also less prone to accidental damage. Misalign this mini chopper, and it simply won’t run: misalign the mini chopper attachment for a stick blender and it’s likely to strip the thread on either the blade or the blade holder, wrecking the attachment. This is a really useful device for smaller chopping/grinding tasks that would be awkward by hand, but don’t really merit using a full size food processor, and don’t require enhanced functionality. For instance, if I’m panne-ing or making stuffing - breadcrumbs can be pretty awkward by hand (requires a stale, non-sliced loaf, a grater, and patience), but any bread will blitz up to a nice, fine crumb in a few seconds in this and it’s easy to add flavour via herbs, spices, and onions/shallots. Brill for making curry pastes too. Very easy to clean as jug, lid, and blade all go through the dishwasher.

Just arrived this morning, so I decided to make some mayonnaise using the recipe in the instruction book provided. I only used half qty in the recipe just in case it was an abject failure. Result: absolutely perfect mayonnaise. The drain hole in the lid is a genius idea, it regulates the flow of oil into the bowl to create a perfect emulsion. I'm looking forward to trying some more recipes later. Humus and Guacamole next !
