I was worried they’d take forever to dye the eggs naturally shell, but they actually make vibrant colors in about the same amount of soaking time as the regular box dyes from the store! The eggs shown were only soaked for a short time. The orange dye works INSTANTLY the egg shown sat in the dye for only a few seconds. Perfect for my toddler who just wanted to dip the eggs over and over and not wait for them to soak. Haha I used a paint brush and “watercolor” painted and just dabbed off with cloth as I went and it worked so well! Fast, easy, natural ingredients. It ticks all the boxes! Plus no vinegar needed so it doesn’t even smell! I will be buying this every year! My kids and I had so much fun!

was looking for a dye free egg coloring kit. Was very impressed with this item. pro - dye free - turns out beautiful cons- do need to have a little bit of patience as since they are more a natural color dye does take a bit to get a bright color for your eggs

We loved using this safe dye for coloring our Easter eggs this year. The best part was hearing the kids guess what plants or vegetables could be in there to make them this color. When we peeled the eggs to eat, the color did not absorb into the white part of the egg as deeply as it does with store bought food coloring. The color gets deeper as you let them sit longer, but we were too excited to wait. Overall, I plan to purchase this again for next year. 🙂
