GREAT for Coating Ink-Jet Printed Business Cards
I should write more reviews. So many EXCELLENT products available ... from Amazon, my favorite supplier. For years, I've been printing my own business cards, using the LASER PRINTER style blanks from Avery. But I often had feeding problems. (Maybe I need a new laser printer, although this one works great on everything BUT the Avery Laser-type business cards? SO I tried printing my business cards with my Epson DeskJet printer. The sheets fed great and they looked better ... deeper and richer printing ... than the laser ones had done! BUT I was worried they wouldn't be waterproof and durable enough. SO I tried this Krylon, as a finish. Two coats, front and back; a couple of hours apart. (Spray OUTSIDE and USE A PROPER VAPOR MASK, not one of those flimsy white dust masks. OR spray outside with the wind flowing from you ... over the cards ... and away. The opposite of when you're hunting, as you know if you're a hunter. I'm not. Except for "bargains" on Amazon.) Let the cards dry for a couple of days in a well-ventilated place. The smell WILL go away soon enough. The RESULT: an amazing card with deep and rich printing; a slightly-plastic-card feel, very nice; and COMPLETELY WATERPROOF. If you run one under water in the sink, the CARD will curl, but the printing will NOT run. Check all of this out. It's a great way to make wonderful ... impressive ... waterproof ... and durable cards. PLUS with a DeskJet printer, you can add color and images to your heart's content. There, I've done it. Another review. I should do more. No big deal to pull off!

Nice Product
Covers well, nice finish, I use this outside in an open air patio... The odor lasts a long time so when my work is dry, I still leave it in the garage until there is no lingering odor. I use light coats, unless I want a crackle/crazed finish, which I go over with a light stain to fill in the cracks, giving my piece with an interesting surface texture.

I use this to seal painted rocks with success.

THE BEST!!!
Its more expensive but if you want a hard top coat this is it!! It is the only clear coat that gets a real hard surface in turn not screwing up whatever you use it on.

Kaylin spray
I know Kaylin is a good product. Just doesn't work well with oven baked clay as a protective gloss. It stayed tacky. Lesson learned.

Works well but use outdoors
It does a great job with nice even coats, but it's toxic to breathe with noxious fumes that when I use it up, going to switch to clear coating with Liquitex varnish which is applied with a brush and has no smell (and make no mistake toxic chemical in that as well). If you use the spray, you MUST use a good respirator and don't do it in your home. The smell lingers. I even keep my sprayed pieces in the hallway until they de-gas.
