Olympian Labs Melatonin Fast Dissolve Supplement, 5mg Tablets, 60 Count

I have been using a 10 mg. time release from another company with mixed to poor results. I've never been one to really get more than 6 hrs. of restful sleep, but during my 60's that dropped to around 4 and that drives my husband nuts as he gets a full 8 hrs. while I run around at night. So...WOW, this has been great!!!. I'm now getting a full 6 to 7 hrs. rest. I don't know what they've done differently with this product, but it works like a champ. I get in bed, go to sleep and stay that way.....perfect. My only criticism is the bottle size....very large for the small 60 tablets. To the company....save yourself some money and cut that bottle in half.

My nurse practitioner recommended I try 10mg of melatonin in an extended release form for my complaint of sleeping difficulties. This is the first sleep aid I have ever used and I am very pleased with it. It helps me drop off to sleep within a short time of taking it. There is no grogginess when I need to get up during the night and I am able to go back to sleep quickly. I wake up in the morning feeling rested.

I find that liquid melatonin works better than pills or lozenges. The amount can be regulated, more or less, and you can experiment with dosages. It relaxes me and helps shift my mood into sleep..

It does work on a muscle spasms, but I normally don’t take anything to sleep, and the melatonin doesn’t seem to be working at all

I set an alarm at 4:30 AM to take thyroid medication because the medication needs to be in my system a full two-hours before I consume any food or drink for proper absorption. My issue prior to discovering this product was that my previous melatonin brands were no longer in my system, so I found it so difficult to fall back to sleep after taking my thyroid medication. I found this to be true even with other brands that were "time-released." This Olympian brand is the only one I found that I am easily able to shut my eyes for another 3 hours and wake refreshed. This item now lives happily on my subscribe and save list!

Best sleep I have had in a long time .

My 3 year old seems to like it, she doesn’t fight when it comes to me to take it, it works fast, and puts her to sleep easy. But I am concerned with the warning label. None of the other melatonin supplements I’ve used have this warning on the label, nor is it anywhere in the item description and it has me nervous about continued use. I will be looking into another liquid supplement that doesn’t have these issues. I’m unsure how the ingredients can possibly subject you to these items? As per the bottle: “WARNING: this product can expose you to chemicals, including lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.” I intended to add a picture of the label, but the amazon app doesn’t seem to give that option.

I formerly took just 3mg and fell asleep fine but would have ale during the night. 10g felt like a big jump for me but I’m sleeping through the night now, thank God!!
