I purchased this for my 2007 Lincoln Town Car, because my drivers window switch quit working, only for the drivers window. Install was pretty straightforward, the harness can be a bit tricky to unclip from the original switch, but if you're looking at purchasing this item, I assume you have the minimal technical skill that you need to replace it. I'm by no means a mechanic, but have basic skills, and this was an easy swap. Looks identical to the original, but had a slightly less quality feel, it doesn't feel cheap and .... plasticky??, but does feel different, not so much on the buttons themselves, but the unseen enclosure under the buttons feels a bit thin, but honestly, it doesn't matter as long as it works, right? Only issue I have had is that the auto function doesn't work on mine, I push the button down and it only works if I hold it, not a big issue for me, but it was annoying at first. That's not to say yours won't work, but mine didn't, and as long as I can get my window down and back up, that's all I care about. Straightforward install as I said above, just be careful with the harness, the clips can snap easily on an older vehicle. I recommend using a small, this bladed screwdriver, and a good set of small picks to get the harness unplugged. If you have the 45 degree small hook pick, it works great in combination with small screwdriver. Also I would recommend a set of plastic interior tools, the ones for removing christmas tree clips, etc. You will need these to remove the bezel and switch assembly from the door panel, a screwdriver will work, but might scratch your trim. One bit of information I'll put here also, if you're replacing this in the winter, start the vehicle, and turn the heat on, let the car warm up inside before starting to pry on small plastic parts, and also let the replacement warm up as well, makes install a bit easier. It fixed my issue, hopefully, it will fix yours, and don't be intimidated by doing it yourself, super simple job.
