Farberware Nonstick Bakeware Rectangular Cake Pan with Lid, Cake Pans For Baking, 9-Inch x 13-Inch, Gray

These are my go to pans for baking cakes, bars or whatever. The cover is amazing and fits tight. I have wore a few out over the years but they last quite a while before that happens. Nonstick, easy cleanup and overall great pans.

Truly as nonstick as can be after letting my chocolate, peanut butter, Rice Krispies warm up a little a I smacked the bottom of the pan and they fell out no fuss no muss. Cheap too and very classic looking.

I purchased this to make homemade cosmic brownies and they turned out wonderful. Perfect depth and heat distribution. Very easy to clean and of course my brownies were tasty!

I can not tell you how many pans I looked at and how many reviews I read before deciding to get this one. The only thing that kept me from getting this right away was all the comments about how difficult it was to remove the cover. I figured if I couldn't get it to come off, my husband could. The trick is NOT to try to open it from the corners. (which is what I tried to do & I imagine most people would) You have to open it from the middle of the longer side and the cover comes off immediately! Now for the pan itself, I was looking for something a little deeper than your typical casserole dish and this one is. Its the perfect size for making a thick 3 layer lasagna. It seems to cook evenly, there were no cold spots and it was nice and bubbly when I took it out of the oven. I did not use any cooking spray on the bottom, just a little sauce before layering my lasagna noodles and it did not stick to the bottom of the pan. Each slice came out easily and stayed put together. I used a silicone knife so I wouldn't scratch the bottom and it worked out well. I wouldn't use a metal knife, even though its scratch resistant, they're probably inevitable but I'd like to stave that off for as long as possible. Overall, its a great quality pan for a variety of baked goods from a lasagna, to roasting chicken and making brownies. The cover is a giant bonus and the whole set travels well alone or inside a tote. If needed, I wouldn't hesitate to come back and get another. It also comes packaged nicely and would make a great gift!

They key to opening the lid. The lid of the Farberware Nonstick Bakeware Rectangular Cake Pan with Lid can be tricky to remove. Here's what works best: Pull from the long side – Use your fingers to pull up on the notches located on the long sides of the lid (not the short ends or corners) Apply weight first – Some customers recommend placing weight on the edge closest to you with your forearms, then pull up on the opposite side Use leverage if needed – A butter knife can help separate the lid if it's stuck tight The trick is NOT to try to open it from the corners. AMAZON FRESH AND AMAZON GROCERY HAS MADE MY LIFE SO MUCH BETTER AND HAVE SAVED ME MONEY. YOU CAN ALSO CHOSE ITEMS FROM WINN DIXIE AND WHOLE FOODS. VERY NICE PAN. LID FITS VERY TIGHT. GREAT FOR KEEPING FOOD FRESH.

I have a 9x9 inch Farberware pan that I use for fudge. I really like it, so I decided to purchase the 9x13 inch. I like this one as well. I like the finish and the color. I have a few Good Cook dark grey pans. You have to bake at a lower temperature (25 degrees lower) and check for doneness 10 -15 minutes sooner because dark grey pans heat everything faster. The lighter Farberware pans bake at temperatures and times that follow your recipes more closely. Farberware baking pans are easy to clean and excellent quality. I highly recommend them.

Bakes well, cleans well. Nice bakeware

This was a great addition to my bakeware with the higher lid for iced cakes etc. The lid is very secure, but could be easily cracked trying to release it. Anything baked in this pan is very moist and the timing of the recipes is perfect. I do not enjoy guesswork with oven times. It is easy to store as the pan sits in the upside down lid taking less space. I also feel things stay much fresher in this pan with the lid than others I have tried. I waited a bit for it to arrive but the wait was well worth it.

The plastic cover is too brittle.
