Can you leave this plugged in permanently ?

I have not had an issue - Plugged into my Lenovo laptop for several days (on trip). Same with Samsung tablet.

You need a type C (USB C) connector for this hub. I am not sure if the Tab s& plus has that or not. If it does then it will work.
