This Lion Steel is a very nice knife out of the box. By far the sharpest knife ive bought this year. Handle fits my hand better than any glove I've ever put on. The sheath is the niceest, softest leather ive had on anything. $160.00 US i paid, & i don't feel ripped off for once. I hope to feel this way after I use it in my home woods of the appalachian mountains. I keep you posted on how it holds up.

I wish that I had a reason to carry this around all of the time! It feels superb in the hand, just perfectly comfortable and natural. Alas, an office job doesn't call for this beautiful handful. The construction screams excellence and the sheath is very top quality. I got this for a steal as an open-box return and couldn't be more pleased.

The blade had residue which I removed. The sheath is bone dry and stiff.

This is my 6th Lion Steel Knife from Italy! Very well made from the tip of the hand crafted blade to the hand crafted grip. Lion steel makes some of the finest knives in the world, YES i know it's not American Made but these knives are EVERY BIT worth the money! This knife comes in a plain box with Lion Steel printed all over it. The Macrata hand is one piece witht the full tang hidden in it. While the handle is very comfortable in hand, I've never had a hot spot or discomfort while using this knife (or any of the Lion Steel knives). The steel is N690 and is very sharp right out of the box. The knife is perfect size and shape. The price for this knife is incredibly worth every penny! I can't say enough about Lion Steel knives or this knife, if you get one you will not regret it because it is a knife that will get you attention for a well crafted handmade knife. Highly Recommend!

Niolox .08 carbon, 12.7 chromium, 1.1 molybdenum, 0.9 vanadium and 0.7 niobium which is a somewhat rare alloy. for the steel blade which is full tang. (I own a small amount of it) The grip is perfect as can get and the leather sheath could be used for upholstery in your Maserati if you are lucky enough to own one. It is very thick and a little stiff but should loosen up over time. The only thing I am adding is an aftermarket dangler with a large "D" ring. Comes with a storage box, wrap and an edge protector which is all you need. A pine presentation box with serial numbers or a hastily wrapped conglomeration of cardboard and tape wont be found here. (No oil job either) Italy and Spain are putting out some good products right now.

Excelente cuchillo, tal y como lo describen en los diferentes vídeos en YouTube: tamaño, peso, bien equilibrado, buen acero. La funda de piel muy bien hecha, sin embargo los broches muy duros; al abrir uno se desarmó, el otro lo abrí con un pequeño desarmador y lo lubriqué. Este problema le sucedió a una de las personas que hicieron un “review” en YouTube. Contactaré al distribuidor en Guadalajara para ver si puede hacer algo al respecto.
