Works great for my project. Plenty of room quality box. Not a cheap throw-away. I expect this to last a long time.

Great project boxes. Have used these for multiple projects over the years. Box itself comes with a water proof lid and a gasket seal around the edge. Box may not be water proof once you cut into it for sensors, wiring, switches, meters, etc... So if you do need it to be water proof make sure all the parts you use are also waterproof. Box lid is thick and even with a dremel and a grinding disc took a while to cut through. Overall a sturdy box for projects.

The price is right. If you've been looking around for a similar project box at any of the electronics suppliers, you know how unbelievably expensive they are. This one is very reasonable in price. However, there are a couple of things you should be aware of, especially if you want the box to be water-tight. It comes with a length of gasket material, but the gasket isn't a fully-formed O-ring. You just have to jam the length of gasket material in the groove in the box and hope it seals properly. Also, there aren't really good drawings for the box available, so if you're designing something to fit inside the box, you'll have to make some measurements when you get the box. No 3D models available, either. Also, there's two threaded standoffs in the bottom of the box, but there's no mention of the thread pitch of the inserts, and it doesn't come with screws for those mounting points inside the box. Well, I figured it out for ya - it takes #8-36 screws, so order some of those when you order the box. Outside of that, the plastic is good quality and sturdy. If you're willing to do without things like proper drawings or an o-ring seal, go for it!

I've used these several times for under house splice boxes. They worked well and rubber poring holds up great.
