Great product for kids clothing!

Great for file folders, journals, textbooks, etc. I realize it might be weird to get excited about a sticky tab, but some people have an office supply addiction which springs from a deep and probably unfulfilled need to exert order in our lives. If you're reading the reviews of a sticky tab, you probably understand. Buy these, you won't regret it. They are sturdier and tidier than Post-its, the stick-on part is transparent on the page, and the tab part doesn't look ratty after my journal has been riding around in my bag for months. I use them in my planner, moving them monthly and weekly, and they've held up great. (But they do get a little grimy after I've moved them a year of Sundays.)

I found that these Avery Mini Ultra Tabs are ideal for labeling items other than paper. I recently bought a serger and used them to label the threading order rather than resorting to checking the manual each time. The machine vibrations do not knock them out of place.I also found them to be ideal at labeling other switches and knob that are not clearly marked. They are small enough to put in many places and are easily removable. The pastel colors are subtle but colorful enough for a clear and quick visual indicator.

When I was looking at these, I couldn't decide which size to get so I got the 1" and 2". I could see from the picture that the tab itself was smaller than the overall dimension stated but couldn't find anywhere that specified how wide the actual tab was.So here it is....The tab on the 1" x 1 1/2" is actually 9/16" wide at the narrowest point at top, 3/4" at the bottom.The tab on the 2" x 1 1/2" is actually 1 9/16" wide at the narrowest point at the top, 1 3/4" at the bottom.The part applied to the page is 1" and 2" respectively.So how much difference is 5/16", really? Am I nit-picking? It *can* make a difference depending on how much you need to write on the tab or how big your writing is. Having used 1" mini Post-Its for labels, which were the perfect size, really illustrates the point for me.... I don't know if I'll be able to squeeze my info in on the 3/4" wide tab....I wish 1" tabs were really 1"!

I guess I'm disappointed in this product because I used the previous product.The older version of these had two sides and worked just like index tab dividers minus the large paper.You would slide it onto a sheet of paper, remove the stickies from the underside on each side, and it would adhere to the page and make that page a divider with a tab that you could slide white labels into.These are nothing more than clear post-it notes. They fall off. They bend easily. They tear easily.Very disappointed. Thought this was an upgrade from the old tab dividers. It's definitely a huge downgrade.

I bought these for my planner which is a bound book type with no dividers. These worked extremely well. I now have little dividers where I need them. I put one in front and one is back to make them even more super sturdy. I absolutely love these! They stick well and if you make a positioning error, they lift and move easily. Make sure you measure, they are small. My planner is an A5 and small and it works great! Highly recommend.
