Organize It All Wall Mounted Bath Shelf with Towel Bar in Chrome

Well I have to say after reading the reviews on this shelf with towel rack I was worried about putting it up by myself. I put the pieces together in about 20 minutes. Measured and made my marks on the wall (with a pencil) for the screws while holding up the shelf. Then I made 8 small holes with a nail into the pencil holes. Put the shelf back up and put in a screw on each side with a philips (manually). Did not put screws in all the way, just enough to hold up the shelf. Continued with all the screws until done. Did not use the anchors (were not needeed), and unless you have children that might be pulling on this they are not necessary. I did this all alone (I am 71 years old), in about an hour from start to finish. It is a great addition to my bathroom. I put it above a security bar, so its up fairly high, but still looks good, and my towels when hung will be about 6 inches from the security bar. Also my bath towels will fit!! The bars for the towels measure around 24". I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it. It is not that hard to put up and of course anything is easier with help, will not argue that, but it can be done alone and with a manual philips with no problems. I put a thin board across the top as some of the things I want on the shelf would not work with the bars. I really like it and its inexpensive compared to some I have seen. This is a solid piece of hardware and I am very pleased with everything about it. Although the company has these set at a very precise and well laid out measurement, the people who built our house felt "close enough" was fine. There was a very small variance between the width of the screw holes on the rack and the anchors that were *permanently* set into our bathroom wall. Because of this, I had to set the other six anchors in alignment with the ones in the wall, causing a major issue trying to put the tube bars into the rail frame. However, let me say this - they made such a good and solid product, I was able to tap the threaded nuts inside the tubes down just a touch and cut the ends off with a Dremel tool, making everything fit together in the end. After all that modification, the rack is absolutely rock solid stable (I highly recommend snagging a stud if you can for at least one side and if you have to do the whole thing into the drywall as I did, make sure your anchors are sturdy pieces.) and holds a pair of large fluffy towels on the shelf as well as room to hang a couple wet towels up to dry (or one over both bars for faster air drying). I can't say enough positive things about this towel rack, it really exceeded my expectations, the finish is sturdy and really well done - this coming from a man who cut through it with a Dremel tool - seriously it's well done. No chipping, no splintering. Really well done.

When I got the giant box I was a little nervous - I wasn't sure how big it was and thought I might have made a mistake and ordered the wrong size, but when I opened it, the right product was inside. <> Anyway, the assembly was pretty easy. I have another 'hotel' shelf/rack in my children's bathroom that came in one piece and the quality is way better, but I paid nearly 4-5x as much for that. Installation was easy, the wall anchor screws were pretty cheap - I have a few concerns that they are going to rust because they stripped out pretty easily, even using the correct size Philips head tip on my drill, at a good speed. Other than that, I've had it up for two weeks and it looks awesome and is very sturdy. Don't hesitate to buy this if you are in need of a towel rack and are on a tight budget.

It is sturdy, pretty, and functional. It hangs two regular sized towels to dry. And holds folded towels at the top. It's quite handy. Putting it together was a snap. As a tip for hanging to the wall, trace the holes of this rack onto a large paper (like newspaper) and then center that paper onto the wall where you want to hang this rack. That way, you don't have to measure the distance from that hole to this hole and from that hole to that wall corner, yada yada. Just a quick tip.

I bought this for a small bathroom that I never knew where to keep towels and extra rolls of TP. I have folded four large bath towels in such a way that they fill up the bottom shelf and then on top I have four folded hand towels and several washcloths and then on the end I have enough room for two rolls deep of extra toilet paper. This has solved a huge problem for me since this is a guest bathroom between two guest rooms with the tub/shower and toilet in one room with a door and then the sinks and vanity just outside of this area so that before you would have to open the door to get anything stored under the sink cabinet but how it is all in the same area that the shower and toilet is. It looks fine, I could have spent a couple of hundred dollars for a beautifully designed heavily chromed one but this looks nice, the chrome is shiny and it's extremely functional. The design would go well in many styles of bathrooms.

Lets start with the positive. The towel rack looks great, it serves its purpose, and allows for a good deal of storage in a small space. I love that there are two poles to hang two sets of towels, so this works great for a couple. It appears very sturdy and seems like it will hold a good amount of load. It was easy to put the rack together, it took just 10 minutes screw in all the poles and put it all together. Now there are a few complaints. What I had trouble with is that when you put the rack all together it is a bit askew. You can easily rotate the ends to make it straight but it will spring back to how it was, this makes installing it onto the wall a big pain. I had a lot of problems making sure the thing was level. A big problem I encountered is that it was hard to tell where to drill the holes for the anchors and screws. Since the rack was slightly askew, when I put one end against the wall another end would lift up, so it was hard to tell where the holes should go. Another issue is that the screws do not go flush with the rack. Because the screw holes in the rack are sloped and the screw heads are rounded, they stick out quite a bit when screwed all the way in. Its nothing that draws the eyes, but when you look at it you can see that it looks weird. This is a good towel rack, and fits my needs very well. It is a few simple steps away from being really great. I wish they provided a paper template for where to drill the holes. They should also better match the screws and the screw holes to go better together. They were easy fixes that were over looked which makes this product feel sub-par.

Item is as described. Installation was quite simple. You need a drill and a screw gun and measuring tape or level. It's not the fanciest looking thing in the world, but it's sturdy and holds multiple towels. For that price, I'm very pleased. I like that you can hang towels and stack them on it. I will probably buy a second towel since I now have this option. For now I'm switching between setting my towel on top and hanging it. I usually hang it when it's wet, but if it's dry, I can fold it and put it on the rack. I'm a pretty tall guy, so I can reach the top of the rack. If you were shorter, it'd be harder to reach so you'd want to install it lower on your wall. It should fit anywhere on most walls. unless you have a chair rail or something that might get in the way. You could even install it on the ceiling. The rack wouldn't work anymore, but you could still hang things from it, and people would be like, "Woah, where you'd get a towel rack for the ceiling?!" And you can say, "amazon."

Even though the discription of this item didn't give it's size, someone in a review did, so I bought it. It is 25" long, and extends 11" out from the wall. Much like the ones you see in hotels. This rack came with all the parts, and an instruction sheet, needed to assemble it. It assembled quickly and easily, and I had the whole thing done and installed in less than half an hour! Someone in another review indicated that the chrome plating was deteriorating due to the damp in a bathroom. The plating on mine looks good and only time will tell. However I did keep that comment in mind when installing my towel rack and placed it about 10 feet away from the shower/tub area. Works for me!

Pretty good towel rack. Faux chrome coating looks nice in the bathroom and it is very functional. I didn't bother using the mounting hardware it came with and opted for nicer drywall anchors from the hardware store.

It is very easy to install, sturdy for sure, looks great on the wall. Its a great addition to any bathroom as it gives you enough space to hang wet clothes or dry ones plus keep stuff on the shelf. Looks really great!

Tenía algo de miedo con esta compra porque hay quienes dicen que se oxida muy rápido. La verdad para mi este no fue el caso, pues ya tengo varios meses con él y aún sigue en muy buen estado. Sí es algo pequeño pero eso lo pude notar desde que revisé las medidas en la descripción, y es justo lo que yo necesitaba. La instalación sí se me hizo un poquito complicada, sobretodo porque es un soporte que se debe instalar en alto y debes ser muy preciso al marcar los agujeros que perforarás lo cual no es tan fácil cuando el punto de apoyo no queda al ras de la pared. Si eres perfeccionista y quieres poner los 8 tornillos que incluye (2 por patita) solo debes cuidar eso al instalarlo. Sin embargo no me arrepiento de la compra, estoy muy satisfecha con él :)
