Pennington Electro-Nectar Hummingbird Nectar Ready to Use 64-Oz Bottle

Super easy to use and good for the hummingbirds. This is my third year of buying this for the summer hummingbird season and they obviously love it since I go through quite a few bottles each year. My main purpose for purchasing this is the electrolytes and that it's clear, and not red tinted. Keeping the birds healthy as they gift me with their annual visits, is very important to me.

Apparently, the hummingbirds in my yard have now formed a tiny flying fan club for this Pennington Electro-Nectar because the feeder traffic has become completely out of control — in the best way possible. The moment I filled the feeder with this nectar, it was like the hummingbirds immediately texted all their friends and scheduled an aerial convention outside my window. This stuff works wonderfully. The ready-to-use formula makes life incredibly easy — no mixing, no boiling, no accidental “why does my kitchen look like a science experiment?” moments. Just pour it in the feeder and suddenly you’re hosting the world’s fastest dinner party. I also appreciate that it’s naturally colored and looks clean and vibrant without that overly artificial appearance some nectars have. The hummingbirds absolutely love it and keep coming back constantly throughout the day. I’ve honestly spent way too much time standing at the window watching tiny birds aggressively defend “their” feeder like little airborne fighter pilots. The nectar stays fresh well, pours easily, and has become a regular staple for our outdoor bird setup. If you enjoy hummingbirds, this product basically turns your yard into a miniature airport with wings moving at warp speed. My hummingbirds love this! I assumed all hummingbird food was basically the same until my dad bought me some from Costco and the birds didn't seem to like it. They didn't visit the feeder nearly as much so now this is the only hummingbird food I buy.

This Nectar is the best ever! I have so many hummingbirds I’m changing my feeders every other day. The hummers will get right in my face and follow me until I get the fresh batch hung up for them! It is a little expensive when you have as many hummingbirds as I do but I’ve tried other less expensive brands and they just go on strike 😂!

Have used the product for several years. Hummingbirds seem to like it. Ordered 4 bottles—3 of the 4 were clear, but the 4th was cloudy. I can’t get a reply from the vendor as to whether the cloudy bottle is any good. I won’t use it until I get clarification.

This nectar with the electrolytes looks and behaves differently. As I pour it into my feeder, it runs slower and thicker proving a higher sugar content than many other brands. Other brands when pored out looks like cool aid. This has a thickness like a soft drink. Unlike others, this solution must be refrigerated after opening. That alone tells you this is more pure nectar and less preservatives if any at all. Just don’t store it next to your grapefruit juice in the fridge because you and the birds will both be very upset. This solution works! Please know all nectar should be replaced daily if temps exceed 91 degrees and the feeder is in the sun. This solution is more susceptible to turning rancid if not frequently changed and the feeder cleaned each time. It’s more work but well worth it in the end. If you’re feeding the birds, why not give them the best?

All the birds be loving my electro nectar. The homies post up early watching the sunrise before taking a few sips before spinning the block and coming back because they need to re-up on those electrolytes. I keep at least two of these on ice for the little homies, keeping an eye out for when they pull up, chirp, and get served. Get you some Nectar
