Vacuum Hose Adapter Kit, Universal Vacuum Hose Adapter 7-Piece Reducer

I recently purchased a Shark Navigator NV360, and wanted to keep using my current floor tool, but it did not work with this new vacuum. So I ordered these, and used two of the five pieces to size down to the correct fit for my favorite floor tool. These DO WORK, you just need to try different configurations to make it work. If I have any issues when I use the floor tool with these, I will update my review. Otherwise, I am very pleased with these!

As many know, it is difficult and expensive to buy specific tool brand vac. adapters. This might be your answer. I found this assortment worked well with my new Dewalt palm sander. With the different sizes in this kit, I was able to connect to my portable floor vac. I took off one star because with only a small amount of use the connection between the adapters and my hose are already becoming a bit looser and want to come apart at times. If they become more of a problem, it is nothing that a couple wraps of electric tape cannot fix. Will probably buy one additional set just to give me more options with connections.

Able to use one or more adaptors to attach other manufacturers’ attachments to my Shark vacuum hose or stick. Don’t discard your old attachments. I like to keep some attachments for dirty jobs and some for cleaner jobs like upholstery, lamp shades, furniture etc. I numbered each attachment and then created labels with a code that I attached to the other manufacturer’s tools indicating what adaptors were needed to attach to either the stick end or hose end of my Shark vacuum. By doing this I have many more tool options to use with my new Shark Lift-Away upright vacuum cleaner.

These did not fit tightly onto my vacuum cleaner hose, so had to use lots of electrical tape to secure the connection. Used 2 adapters in combination. My fault the adapters did not fit, I was using them for 2 different brands of equipment, a Miele MIghty Mite canister vacuum cleaner and a Shark carpet attachment for stairs. I measured both and compared to the size of the adapters; the measurements must not have been accurate.

Is it for design? Or for material? Or production? Whatever the reason is, the adapters do not tightly fit—they easily come off—and don’t do the job.
