Midwest RakeCompany GIDDS2-287010 Toolite Round Point Wood Handle Shovel, 48"

Originally I thought i would use this to sift out snail shells in the water, as they are the carriers of swimmers itch parasites, however the shells proved to be light for this. the shovel does work awesome for sifting out small to medium sized rocks. This tool will be a staple in my tool shed.

I bought this for sifting areas I was detecting that had a ton of trash or iron in the sites. man this thing is tough for a shovel with holes in it. I have since used it on the beaches when detecting and works great in the high desert regions.

Heavy duty shovel feels like it will last forever. I imagine it would last well when used by professional construction workers. But I wish it were not quite so heavy for my purpose.

Just what we wanted. When you dig tile up this lets the water out and the dirt stays in the shovel

Just what I needed but heavy to use.

Very well made. I plan on filtering sand at the beach for sand crabs well see.

It works fantastic in streams.
