Compact and well made. Good concept, strainer / chopping board that fits in the cooking set. Unfortunately it did not fit either of my MSR camping pots and I had to return it. Wish MSR would make something like this.-F

This piece of plastic does wonders if you're using a Trangia 27 or 25 cook set. It's made as a cover to keep your food warm, a cutting board if you're in the woods and a pasta strainer to dump the water out without throwing all the pasta on the ground. A very effective yet very simple device made by the Swedes and this device is a MUST HAVE you have the 25/27 series . A very highly recommended product!

Perfect for your Tringia cook set. I like to pour off excess liquid from my Ramen noodles into a cup to sip while I eat them. Can be used to keep the bugs out, hold the heat in. This is the second one I have bought.

Love this! Fits together in the Trangia cooking set and works perfectly as both a strainer and chopping board! Adds nearly no weight while giving you a 2 in 1 tool to make cooking on the trail just a little easier. If you already have the Trangia cooking set, I definitely recommend you add this to your kit!

So here’s a long winded review for such a simple accessory... with pictures no less!I bought this multi-disc with a 27 series stove set. My first impression is this looks like a tough little cover. It's quite rigid but does have a small amount of flex. It's nearly, but not completely, flat. My scale says it weighs 2.8 oz/79 grams. The design of the disc I received, specifically the grooves/rings on the underside, looked a little different than the stock product image (see pics). The stock product image is likely of the 25 series disc.Online descriptions of all the uses of this disc are pretty vague. The product insert was pretty straightforward (see pic; my added numbers correspond to the disc rings described below). Trying all the different ways to use/store the disc I found that in most configurations it fit well but there is one where it doesn't. At first I would have agreed with some of the other reviews saying the disc didn't fit right. After an email from Trangia I would say that for the most important uses the fit is fine, but, there's a bit more to the story.The disc has an outer lip (#1 in my pics) which nests into the lower windshield and keeps the set from sinking into soft surfaces like snow. In this position the disc fit well.The disc has an inner ring (#2 in my pics) which mates with the rim of either pot to use as a cover (after cooking), strainer, cutting board, etc. In this position the disc fit well.As a result of #1 and #2, there is a middle ring (#3 in my pics) which would appear to be designed to mate with the upper windshield. The product insert shows the disc between the upper windshield and the fry pan (to protect the surface of the pan) when everything is packed together. You’d think that the upper windshield would fit snug and even into this middle ring. It doesn’t (but it’s really close).I asked Trangia, via e-mail, about this fit issue and if they were aware of it. Here is their honest (and 1 day) response:***Thank you for your email.We know about the issue. The grooves in the disc were not really meant to fit all pieces from the beginning, only the pots. In the larger 25 set, they do fit both windshields as you describe but as you noticed not the 27 set. I’ll post back what I find out.Overall I’m pleased with this accessory. Is it completely necessary? No, probably not. Does it serve a useful purpose? I’d say it does. The odd fit of the disc in the packed set doesn’t appear to affect anything. The disc looks like it still provides protection for the fry pan and, when the whole thing is strapped together, it makes everything a bit more secure than the stock fry pan protector sheet.I’ll put a few miles on this set bouncing around in my pack/kayak/truck and see if any problems crop up. I don’t expect they will.

I keep these in my camping box and kitchen

This is great for straining, vented covering, and an impromptu cuttingboard. Mine does warp a little when used while cooking, but if you use it upside down it will flatten back out.

This fits perfectly and when you put it inside the frying pan, it prevents the other parts from scratching it (if you have non-stick). Great addition to my 27-5 UL setup.

C'è ben poco da dire su questo prodotto, si tratta di un pezzo di plastica sagomato che trova posto all'interno della padella del Trangia 27 e che funge da scola pasta e tagliere. Ora, il prezzo è alto per quello che offre ma essendo io un fan dei kit completi l'ho preso sia x la trangia 25 che per la 27.

Fits nicely in the trangia 27 pan for storage, nice quality, Does not fit trangia 25, there is larger version for that. Good bit of kit, recommended.

Der Deckel-Teller-Brett-Pfannenschoner-Untersteller ist super, genau solche Sachen mag ich einfach.Ein Teil für mehrere Aufgaben.

I can't now do away with the plastic film. Takes absolutely no more room in the kit but makes it feel more stable when packed.

Fits inside the Trangia 27-8 Cook Set. Great accessory.
