This product is just what you need for great tasting ice for your ice maker in your refrigerator. Easy to install. I had questions and the company was the best to reply and follow through. Will definitely buy from this company and this brand again. You won’t be disappointed.

Bought this for my daughter’s new apartment. Her ice from the ice maker was HORRIBLE. The existing water line was a 1/4” steel braid so I purchased an additional $8.00 2ft steel braid instead of using the supplied plastic water line. Made the installation even easier. NO Leaks at all. Ran about 6 gallons of water through the filter before final attachment to the ice maker inlet, then let the ice maker run about 4 cycles. 24 hours later her ice is crystal clear and absolutely NO bad taste. Gonna let this run for a few months and if it works as advertised, I Will be ordering another to install for the kitchen faucet. She’s currently using a Britta Filter pitcher for drinking & coffee water.

So far week after installing no issue. Gave 4 starts due to instructions and customer support. Replacing existing filter using existing 1\4 in copper tubing. Hooked up but leaked from both ends. Called help support sho were not very knowledgeable on product. Told me wouldn't work with copper tubing. Yet filter is supplies with copper connections. Instructions ars part of problem as are not clearly written. You need to use two clear plastic inserts into what ever tubing you use. Once i used them there was no more leaks.Other wise filter working fine.

Past time to replace the original filter for my Icemaker rig. My apartment manager refused to run a dedicate water line to my refrigerator's icemaker, so I built this rig. Everything except the wood and the cutoff valve, I found on Amazon for under $150. The replacement came with additional fittings that I did not need. Total cost under $170.00 (Aug-Sept 2022.)My primary concern was the 1/4" inline connection fitting and how difficult the disconnect/reconnect would be (this is my first time changing the filter). The replacement came with additional fittings and a mounting clamp .I turned off the pump, closed the cutoff valve, disconnected the old filter (by pushing the line into the existing filter, holding down the resistance ring at the connection point, and removing the line -- at each end) and reconnected the new filter which was a simple matter of inserting the existing 1/4" line into the new filter -- no difficulty here. none of the additional provided fittings were needed Yes, I made sure of the "flow direction.The only two (very minor) issues I encountered 1) I should have had a towel as there was some minor "blow out" as I did not completely seat the out going waterline. 2) I needed to use the new filters mounting bracket (supplied with the filter).All in all, I'm very pleased with the product. Hopefully it will be available in 5 years when I'll need to replace it again.

Our water line to our fridge filter and icemaker/water dispenser broke and the part needed to use the system again is no longer made, so we found the external inline water filter system. The videos make it look very easy and I would, sheepishly, agree. But two 74 year old DIY-ers with fading eye sight, lousy lighting, wedged between a fridge and a wall, with the water source in the basement and a dog barking at every bump and curse taxed our patience. Using zip ties was not my favorite install so I resorted to double-sided Velcro tape and viola! It really is quite an ingenious solution and certainly much less expensive than a new refrigerator. Plus a 5-year filter is a bonus for us septuagenarians.

This filter works for me and I won’t have to order one for a while 👍🏽

It fits vey nicely into an online waterline for a refrigerator or ice machine. I used it instead of the kit I received with the machine because of its obvious quality
