Forgiven: The Watchers Trilogy

This story gripped me form the very beginning. We don't think of God's angels being castaways on this earth, and S.J. West has given us exactly that picture along with the great love that God has for all of his creation, even those who have strayed so far from Him that they don't believe they could ever be back in His good graces. Yes, Brand was unbelievable sappy when it came to Lilly, but we have to remember that he was alive when all of the great poets were. He was here on this earth through all of the great playwrights. He learned from the best, and he only had two loves in his entire existence. I didn't see some of the biggest events coming. I was surprised at how far Lucifer was able to stretch his power before he was stopped. It was exciting and even frightening at moments. Characters were sacrificed, and when they've become dear to you, it's always hard to see them go. The ending was unexpected and left the door open to another spin-off series, one that I've already bought by the way. Were there moments that were a little over the top? Yes. Was some of it a bit far-fetched? Definitely. But this is what makes great fiction. The author's research into her content was obvious and the story gave us answers I know that I had never even considered. I think that Ms West has a fantastic imagination, and the way she mixes it with the reality of our world is magic. I look forward to reading the next chapter in this saga. Thank you for the adventure.

Book 3! The last in the series. It did not disappoint at all. I cried, I laughed, and was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events. The end of times is near! Will Lilly and her group of angels be able to stop Lucifer? You'll have to read to find out ;) I recommend that you do! Great book!

The first 2 books I flew through. They were amazing. This book seemed to drag on and on. I got tired of the implied sex. And jumping from one thing to sex to something else.

Forgiven is a solid conclusion to this great trilogy. Like the other two books of the trilogy, this part of the story is built around a bit of theology and includes earthbound angels in half of the main cast of characters. However, that is not the only theme of this trilogy. I appreciate the moving romance, loving friendships and broad definition of family that West carries through the entire series like a thread that stitches the series together. The storytelling includes just the right amount of humor and happiness to lighten what could have become a little too serious. Oh, there are tears to be shed in this book, but the overall feel is hopeful. I think that the story is creative, well thought out, and a perfect set up for a sequel series. 4 1/2 stars

I loved this trilogy and am very impressed with S.J. West' s writing and story telling. The pace was great and kept you reading. I never wanted to put it down!! Lilly and Brand's love is so inspiring that it melted my heart and I even sent some quotes from these books to my love of my life!! I love that they waited until marriage and I am so thrilled with the joy they have found. I will be starting the Watcher Chronicles ASAP!! Bravo to you West and keep the books coming. You have a true fan in me!!

I finished this book a couple of days ago and it was a very good conclusion to this series. I still love the characters and we finally find out what lily is and what she can do for everybody. How is decisions are a life balance without giving anything away she has this way of making everyone be calm and able to sort out their lives Daily... She just natural born later find out why. Brain is definitely a natural natural natural natural born leader just the way he acts everyday I still love him . You find out more about will in the story also and what happened and it's really becoming how everyone has grown throughout these books. If you're looking for something spicy this is not the book this is a paranormal romance For young adults. I'm not saying it is a bad book I'm just saying that if you have young readers or you do like young adult romance with no spice this is definitely a series you should read because the writing is very good in it and it does keep you drawing too everyone that is in it.

I have read this series probably once every couple of years. You can’t put it down. A very good read. You fall I. Love with the characters. In the next series you get bits of Lily and Brand and their life. Love these books. Next up Broken, Jess and Mason story which is my favorite.

Forgiven Book Three of the Watcher Trilogy By Author S.J. West Read 30 June 2015 An ending to her trilogy (or is it?) that didn't disappoint in any way, shape or form. As I read this last installment of the "Watcher Trilogy" I was taken through so many emotions that I truly thought I would not survive. I was thrilled by every last bit of the story. From the overwhelming feeling of love, friendship and a need to overcome and hopefully survive, to the horrible sadness that this was the end of being so involved with each and every character to the very end. All I could wish is for some how Author S.J. West would find a way to continue her amazing story for another few books. I was immersed into a truly riveting world that kept my attentions for the last 3-4 days. I truly felt like I was loosing loving and important people from my life..... Absolutely genius is all I can say of the talented S.J. West. I searched to see what else she has written, not ready to let go of my attachment to my new found characters to find to my surprise that she has written a continuation 4 book series. I am downloading the first installment to this series right away. But before starting the next series (even though it is a continuation) I had to re-read this Trilogy once more and I did!!! I felt like I was reading it for the very first time, the way it struck the cords of my emotions so hard..... A definite 5 Star read!!!

The watchers trilogy is one of the best story lines I've read for awhile must read for any fantasy fan.

This is the final book in the Watchers trilogy but lucky for us not the final books about the Watchers!! If you enjoyed this series, I recommend reading The Watchers chronicles next. This book brings us to Lily and Brand's wedding, as well as the battle of good versus evil. The novel features some of my all time favourite West characters: Malcolm and Lucifer. Yes again, the story draws the reader in and it is very hard to put it down. West creates characters that you love and a few you love to hate. This book was an excellent conclusion to a great series

I enjoyed this series. interesting premise and nice light reading.

Found the 1st book by chance n thought I'd give it a go, loved it!!!! Couldn't put it down n when I'd finished I had 2 get the others right away. If u love angles n romance I really recommend this series.xx
