One of my dogs was getting too warm in her crate at night with her usual bolster bed, and we could hear her panting in the morning. After swapping it out for this bed, she seems to be much more comfortable, and we no longer hear her waking up early in the morning panting.The inner foam piece (which seems to be waterproof?) can be flipped to have the cooling side up or down (there's a label sewn onto the cooling side), and the outer zipper-cover can be turned up or down: the soft, minky side is lavender-scented, and the other side is the same canvas as the rest of the bed with no added scent.The lavender scent was very noticeable to me when I opened the package (I am pretty sensitive to smells), but it has not seemed to bother my dog or make them not want to use the bed. I also don't smell it from a few feet away where I sleep near her crate.The center cushion has loops that tie into each corner with two tabs/strings that are long enough to double-knot if you're worried about it coming out of place or a naughty puppy yanking it free. However, it wouldn't take much for a determined dog of any size to shift it out of place and flip everything around, so I wouldn't recommend for a pet notorious for tearing up their beds.All-in-all, I'm very happy with my purchase and have one in each crate to use for the warmer months!

My dog loves this bed! This isn't his main bed but he loves to spend the day under the window in the sun. He had an old crate pad here that was so furry and impossible to clean so I decided to make my life easier and find something easy. This is it! At first I had the more upholstered side up in the bed and it was probably a bit rough for him so I turned the soft velour side up and it's still been super easy to clean. I lint roll it a few times and throw it in the washer. With his old bed, I was removing hair for 30+ minutes! If I had one suggestion, it would be that the outer roll covering was removable and washable as well. I'm just spot treating it now.The semi-crunchy sound (like a waterproof mattress) took him a couple of days to get used to but now he doesn't notice. He's wearing a cone/donut in one of the photos but, as you can see, even with that on he's super comfy and just snores the day away!For reference, we got the XS and he is 9.5 lbs.

I bought this crate liner specifically because I was already so impressed with the Petfusion memory foam bolster bed. I have an 8 month old rescue who puts everything in her mouth, so I needed something that could stand up to a little roughin' up.There was a small issue with my order and their customer service got back to me the same day. I'm more than satisfied with how they handled the situation and know I can trust them with future purchases.

My puppy chewed through the corner of this with ease. Fluff everywhere. I’m just hoping she didn’t ingest any (the vet said wait and see based on how much was left behind; too late to induce vomiting). This is NOT safe for your pet!
