This was very easy to put together and is sturdier than the other ones I have bought. One of my kitties loved to chew the scratchers up until they fell apart, hence why I got one with non-carboard sides. My kitties use this one and it is nice to look at.The process of setting it up was smooth and fast. The instructions were easy to understand and follow, and it holds together very well.

It's very rare that I review products on Amazon, so this speaks volumes about my admiration for this product.We have a very large cat who absolutely must stand up to scratch. I've tried lots of vertical scratchers, but this one is my favorite. Whenever they're out of stock in our preferred color, I have to buy a different brand for our cat and I always regret it.This requires some simple assembly with pegs and glue (all accessories and instructions are included), but I don't mind. The sides on this thing are key! I've bought vertical scratchers without sides and the little shards of cardboard end up all over the floor and I have to vacuum every single day. The sides on this scratcher keep the cardboard mess contained and I don't have to vacuum as often.The cardboard is also of a higher quality than other scratchers, and it seems a little more sturdy/durable. I don't have to replace these scratchers quite as often as other brands. The last time I bought a different brand for the cat, she shredded it in about a week flat. This will last our cat about two months.

Quality product that works as advertised. I placed it against a wall, and my Kitty started using it immediately! My cat is only about 8 months old and has small claws. The Z-board has larger corrugated open spaces, and she is not able to scratch on it. Her claws get stuck. So she stopped using it. I bought a regular rectangle cardboard scratcher and super glued it to the Z-board scratcher, and she loves it! Good product, but not for kitties with small claws.

I have tried many different cat scratching posts. This one is by far my cats favorite! He has significantly reduced furniture scratching.I stand it up against a sturdy wall rather than actually attaching it to the wall and have no problem. I have a small apartment and prefer to move the scratching post to whatever room I am working in as my cat tends to follow me there.I love that you can flip over the scratching boards and buy replacements rather than buying an entire new item.10/10 recommend

This tall scratcher is a wonderful idea. It's sturdy and can withstand a lot of scratching. However, the bottom rectangular carboard piece does not fit in the bottom. It is too big so the front bottom piece that is meant to hold the sides together keeps popping off! It's very frustrating. Paid too much for an item that has such poor quality control.

Our cat likes a variety of scratching surfaces. We have a horizontal one so he was super happy to have a vertical surface as well! It's easy to put together. And if you can have someone help you, it's super fast. It can be used immediately after assembly.

All of our cats love these. I also love that they are more of a decoration that some other cardboard scratchers. Will be buying more!

The product is great, but I don’t see where I can order replacements!!!
