Yes, you can use between coats. You just lightly wipe off any oily residue and apply next coat of polish. This is great dryer

does spray have a scent?

It has a very light scent. It doesn’t bother me!

how long must you wait to spray on nails?

You can spray it on nails as soon as you finish applying polish. I discovered this product when cosmetology students were using it for manicures. About a minute passed for the manicurist to retrieve the can and she sprayed the wet polish. It worked well to aid in drying and conditions too.
