It contains an internal power supply that accepts standard USA 110-120v AC and comes with a cord with a standard 3-prong (5-15P)

Can this be installed in line from your normal router to push signal through the the existing ethernet cable to other side of the hoise to a switch?

No, this is a power injector for Power Over Ethernet devices which are powered through the ethernet cable rather than plugging them in to a power outlet. This device plugs in to wall power and puts power on to an ethernet circuit to power a PoE device. An ethernet segment can be 100 meters long. Unless you have a really big house, there should be no need to "push" the signal through a cable to the switch.
